The fact that legendary electrogaze and industrial electronica crew The Glitch Mob tapped Elohim for their latest track I Could Be Anything is nothing short of an affirmation of the Los Angeles electro-pop artist and producer’s talent. And together, they did wonders on the spectacular song, a conjoining of the classically exalted with the voice of the future. And now, I Could Be Anything has received an official remix treatment from another “voice” of the future, or much venerated and beloved producer REZZ. She’s given I Could Be Anything an acidic warbling dubstep edit. The ravey remix is invigorating and rousing, visceral and electrifying. REZZ takes us on a dark journey into the nebulae of our minds. To add to the intensity of this odyssey, watch the mesmerizing music video for REZZ’s remix below. Download/stream the track, here.

If it’s some heavy hitting house and dark pounding bass you’re hankering for today, let me introduce you to your new “obsession”. Florian Picasso, a mad genius of a producer when it comes to hard beats and rattling bangers, has shared a metallic whomping high voltage thriller named Obsession. It’s a face melting, brain jarring North American affair as Canadian producer Snails partners up with California’s own esteemed beats and bass slinger NGHTMRE on Only Want U. The rambunctious and vociferous dubstep knockout packs a whole lot of heat and punch, and it features piquant vocals by Akylla. Melodic hooks and strident assaults of uproarious bass alternate on this battle ready, mechanical whirring anthem. Only Want U is the second single from Snails’ forthcoming album. It’s a limited free download, here.

Canadian electronic bigwigs Zeds Dead have been quiet as of late since their debut album came out a year ago, but they break that silence in grand and majestic fashion with a track on which they’ve teamed up with another behemoth production magnate, Denver’s ILLENIUM. Behold Where The Wild Things Are, a larger than life dubstep anthem bursting with heavy emotions and cathartic feels. It’s a spine tingling, heart jolting combination of ILLENIUM’s cinematic propensities and Zed Deads’ high voltage drops and kicks. You can buy or stream the epic collaboration, here.

New music from Swedish duo Galantis is a major event, one that usually leads to a flurry of new remixes and edits from producers from all around. The pair surprised us a month ago when they gave us a sparkly lulling anthem named Hunter instead of their usual gallantly dashing, brightly jouncing fare. If it’s a harder, faster, stronger Hunter that you’re craving for, SoCal legend NGHTMRE and fellow Californian Rickyxsan are here to deliver the jolt you need. NGHTMRE & Rickyxsan have linked up to give us a strident jarring, gloriously thrilling beast of a trap, bass, & dubstep remix. The track is lifted from an official remix EP for Galantis’ Hunter. The EP is out on Big Beat Records and it also features remixes by Henry Fong and Mike Williams, as well as a Galantis & Misha K VIP.

Back to France we go for a shuddering heavy hitter from Basstrick, aka Romain Ahterton, who’s exploded onto the dubstep and basshouse scene with his visceral jouncing music. Recent single Tinker Hatfield is a face melting, brain rattling banger. It’s no wonder Basstrick has gained the support of DJ Snake, Tchami, and Habstrakt, having released his thrilling music since 2015 with his multiple EPs and remixes. Adrenaline pumping Tinker Hatfield is a gritty pounding free download, here.

May is, according to PC Music, the “Month Of Mayhem”, and the acclaimed purveyors of avant-garde electronic music are in the midst of releasing a new single everyday of this month. One of my favorites so far out of the few days we’ve dipped into May is Lightning Lipgloss Life, which comes by way of mysterious production project Life Sim. The producer previously collaborated with Charli XCX on her surprise mixtape Number 1 Angel. He now resurfaces to razzle dazzle us with a happy hardcore meets trap like spectacular that bursts with maniacal euphoria. Despite that frazzled freneticism, Lightning Lipgloss Life is also beautifully glamorous and magically enchanting. Until you hit that visceral closure, an absolutely glorious, deliciously dark trap and bass finish that leaves sharp tingles in its wake. Find out more about PC Music’s Month Of Mayhem, here.

Some belated birthday wishes are in order for Dirty Audio, who turned 22 years old earlier this week. The Los Angeles based producer chose to team up with young gifted Jupe so he could give US a present in celebration of his special day. This kind generosity is more than appreciated, particularly when Down Under is such a vigorous trap and bass banger. Down Under’s high octane thrills are gritty jostling. It’s an adrenaline rush on which Miami based Jupe smelts his melodic future bass with Dirty Audio’s more than filthy drops. You can download Down Under for free, here.

Mija’s debut original is Tegan and Sara sampling heaven. The Los Angeles based DJ and producer took snippets of one of my favorite recent Tegan and Sara tunes, Boyfriend, and utilized it in her staccato jabbing, pitchy electrifying drum and bass masterpiece Secrets last month. As expected, some superb remix treatments are arising from the banger. And who else but Ohio’s Crankdat would amplify the soundwaves on the track with a brain jogging remix? Get ready for a jolting cacophony of trap, bass, and dubstep as the producer cranks up the energy with a hard hitting, cosmic jouncing edit. This dramatic thrashing thrill ride is a free download, here
