It’s been less than a week since I first featured a UK duo named Treasureseason and their dreamy synthpop music. The tune I featured then, Julep, has been making a big mark on the Hypem charts, unsurprisingly. Julep is the title track off their new EP, out right now on Hand In Hive. Today, Treasureseason made available on Soundcloud the final track from the EP. Into The Sun is a glistening, swirling song that floats on luscious, rich synths, like a more plush, M83 infused CHVRCHES. Let’s revisit Julep below, too.

Dreamy synthpop can be such a heart warming, reverie inducing treat sometimes, and UK duo Treasureseason’s new single Julep is the perfect choice to throw yourself into such a plush, weightless feeling. Both foggy and shimmery, Julep is a saccharine, tropics imbued song. It’s the title track off Treasureseason’s EP, out today on Hand In Hive. For more of Treasureseason’s blissful EP, stream intoxicating, chillwavey We Live Fast below, too.

When I encounter superb debut songs from brand new acts, I tend to get giddy with excitement and impatient to share. That certainly happened with this brand new French act, named Alma Elste.  Heart Melter is her aptly named debut single, and you’d better prepare yourself to catch that puddle your heart’s about to become. Her beautiful synthpop music and emotive vocals carry slivers of Lana Del Rey moodiness, but theres a lush, luxuriant quality that evokes Young Summer and Eternal Summers. I also found myself thinking of Bat For Lashes, London Grammar, and Arthur Beatrice on the dreamy song. Heart Melter is quite the glistening, enveloping listen.
