Nine days, that’s how much longer we have to wait before morgxn’s debut album Vital arrives. It’s never been a more exciting time to be a faithful morgxn fan. Not only did he blow us away at SXSW when he gave us an incredibly impassioned performance at We Found New Music/Peppermint Club’s official showcase, but he gave us one of our favorite tracks of the year in “translucent”, too. morgxn recently wrapped up his European tour supporting X Ambassadors, and he’s set to perform at Lollapalooza, Firefly, Cayuga, and Laurellive this summer. And now, he turns our hearts into mush with his immaculate falsettos and a dulcet melting new tune named “me without you”.  He says of the single: “it’s a song about loving someone so much and not knowing what to do when they’re gone. it a song about searching for home when that person is ‘home’ and without them you don’t know home anymore. and ultimately it is a song about recognizing and saying “i love you” before it is too late to say it anymore. i wrote it for my father.” The anguish is nothing short of palpable on the heartrending ballad.
