On July 6th, Grammy-nominated British trip hop and electronic legends Goldfrapp will be releasing a deluxe edition of Silver Eye, their latest album from last year. On it are several new bonus tracks, including a rendition of album closer Ocean featuring none other than Depeche Mode frontman Dave Gahan. Depeche Mode and Goldfrapp is a more than epic union, and this glorious new version of Ocean more than reflects that. You can find the track on Apple Music, here. Pre-order Silver Eye: Deluxe Edition, here.

Oh how I wish I could’ve made it to Goldfrapp’s show in San Francisco a couple weekends ago, but life isn’t always fair, and even if I had, “everything is never enough” and I’d probably have left the show wanting to see them soon yet again. The multiple Grammy awards nominated English electronic duo happened to share a striking music video recently for their song Everything Is Never Enough off their recent seventh album Silver Eye. The glassy pulsing, synth fanning song is a beaut. It very much reminds me of some of my favorite School Of Seven Bells songs, too. Silver Eye is out now on Mute Records and it’s available, here.

I’m not sure what a moon might taste like, but it sure sounds delectable if its anything like this ambrosial piece from Grammy nominated British electronic legend Goldfrapp. Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory suffuse us with gauzy electronica and spacey pop on Moon In Your Mouth, a slow building, masterful beauty from their seventh album Silver Eye, arriving tomorrow. Silver Eye, which was co-produced by Haxan Cloak and John Congleton, can be pre-ordered from all major outlets, here.

Neither can we. Pre-order Goldfrapps’ seventh studio album, here, and purchase Anymore as a single from iTunes, here.

For a fluid, ethereal four and a half minutes, stream the Blood Diamonds remix of Goldfrapp’s blissful Thea, which is off the Grammy award winning act’s brilliant album Tales Of Us from last year. The Canadian producer’s effervescent take on Thea is refreshing and invigorating. Goldfrapp is about to release their film Tales Of Us, which sprouted from their last album of the same name. The film will be in theaters next week on March 25 and 27.

They’re back! They’re really back! Grammy award winning English electronic duo Goldfrapp released a video today for a brand new cinematic single, the haunting Drew, off their coming new album Tales Of Us. The new release will be out on September 10. It feels like they’ve been teasing us with a new album for ages. It’ll be their sixth studio album and follows up Head First from 2010. Drew starts off hushed and delicate, but as lush, orchestral strings soar, it becomes far more dramatic, almost James Bond theme song like. Alison Goldfrapp’s raspy vocals are mesmerizing and sensual, yet so elegant. There’s no doubt it’s a breathtakingly beautiful and incredible song. I’ll be looking forward to hearing the rest of the album come September.

Goldfrapp, when the heck are you releasing that new material you teased us with ages ago??? Waiting, waiting, let’s hope the first half of 2013 will bring much new goodies.
