There’s no swaying our high esteem for fast rising alt/electro band The Federal Empire, nor any chance of diminishing our infatuation for songs off the Southern California band’s first EP together, The American Dream. But there’s also no denying that The Federal Empire’s new single, Glory Days, is their most monumental offering to date. Chad Wolf (Carolina Liar) and McKay Stevens light us up with a defiant beast of an alt rock song in Glory Days, rife with thundering percussion and roaring guitars. It’s no wonder this battle ready anthem was featured on the series premiere of the show Valor on the CW. It’s a gritty blistering spectacular, an infectious and vehement call to arms that will leave you inspired and invigorated, ready to take on the world. The Federal Empire’s tour with Deorro will bring them to the Warfield in San Francisco on December 1st. Find out more about the tour, here. Glory Days can also be streamed via Spotify, here.

Los Angeles’ Sweater Beats, aside from gracing our pages for many a year with his versatile compositions and groundbreaking productions, keeps linking up with some of our favorite vocalists and artists this year, too! He partnered up with Nashville sensation R.LUM.R earlier this year on Altar, then lent his production prowess to RKCB’s Bloom. Now, Sweater Beats has enlisted popular pop starlet Hayley Kiyoko for her dulcet vocals on irresistible future pop anthem Glory Days! Glory Days is a frisky lunging, melodic thrumming song that will surely be an electronic hit of the summer with its massive hooks and ebullient energy. It’s probably the most pop-centric song we’ve heard from Sweater Beats in all our years of following his music, and we’re loving this grandiose crossover magnificence. Glory Days is indeed GLORIOUS. Glory Days is out on Big Beat, stream and purchase at major outlets, here.
