Whenever I hear the name Ophelia, I can’t help but think of the tragic character from Shakespeare’s Hamlet. George Taylor’s Ophelia is also inspired by sad events. It’s a song he wrote about a girl who had to spend some time in the hospital, but thankfully she recovered. The London based singer songwriter wrote the song after visiting her in the hospital, and what an immense beauty of an expressive and cinematic song it is. It’s no wonder George Taylor has already gained a publishing deal with Warner Chappell and premiered music on Beats 1. You can listen to George Taylor’s prior singles on Soundcloud, here.
