San Francisco Bonobo fans (and there are so many of us here) are stoked they get to catch the esteemed and celebrated British producer throw down a DJ set this Saturday at The Midway. I’m guessing it’s more than likely that Simon Green will drop on his transcendental new collaboration with fellow Brit, George FitzGerald. When he does, the crowd is going to collectively melt to Outgrown’s beautifully spiraling, halcyon spinning ambient electronica, so gently saturated with soft garage beats. Outgrown is an emotionally stirring, delicately embroidered new taste from George FitzGerald’s highly anticipated full length, All That Must Be, out on March 9th. Pre-order the album, here.

British producer George FitzGerald gifted us this week with the announcement of a sophomore EP named All That Must Be, to be released March 9th. Accompanying the news is a beautifully melancholic, synth rolling single named Roll Back, featuring Lil Silva on smoothly gliding vocals. Mesmeric and cathartic Roll Back comes by way of a subtly crafted music video. George FitzGerald’s next album also features collaborations with artists like Bonobo, Hudson Scott, and Tracey Thorn. George FitzGerald will be touring in support of his new album this spring, with a stop at the Independent in San Francisco on May 9th. Pre-order new album All That Must Be, here

It’s high time we visit back with British producer George FitzGerald, especially now that he’s dropped as sensational a tune as Burns. A shifting soundscape captivates us on this other worldly, intensely hypnotic rhapsody takes us to extreme levels of euphoric intoxication. Burns’ dark pounding deep house beats and operatic vocal chops leave us in a suspended state of taut exhilaration. It’s no surprise that Annie Mac chose Burns as her “Hottest Record In The World” earlier this week on BBC Radio. Burns is out now via Domino Records.

It’s a rare occasion that we get a new track from Bonobo, and it’s such a treat whenever we do. Just listen to the acclaimed British producer’s spectacular remix of George FitzGerald’s Full Circle, featuring Boxed In. Get ready for some goosebumps and some spine tingling shivers as Bonobo takes us on one of his magical journeys. Full Circle adopts a profoundly meditative depth on the beautiful edit, submerged in introspectively shadowy atmosphere and instilled with heart string tugging, ruminative guitar. No word yet on whether the stunning remix will get a release soon. I sure hope so.

George FitzGerald never disappoints, and he’s set the bar very high for himself too. The Berlin based UK native producer dropped a hypnotic and shadowy new tune today named Call It Love (If You Want To), and it features vocals by Lawrence Hart. The deeply resounding tech immersed house song is a tapestry of sonic art, with its captivating production, velveteen vocals, and organic spirit. Epic songs like this are hard to encapsulate with words. Dive into George FitzGerald’s ocean of sound. Call It Love will be on the producer’s new album, Fading Love, out April 27th.

I believe it’s been awhile since we’ve heard a George FitzGerald original, but the UK producer is back with a new one to remind me why he captivated me a year ago. I might consider it good timing, as George Fitzgerald reminds me of Caribou at times, and I’m catching Caribou live, finally, on Sunday at the Fillmore in San Francisco. New tune Full Circle, which features Boxed In on soulful vocals, is a smooth and entrancing song. Deep house groove and a simmering intensity are fully hypnotizing. Full Circle also happens to be a first taste from George FitzGerald’s debut album, Fading Love. Fading Love will be released on April 28th via Double Six / Domino.

It’s about time so rad remixes of the new La Roux tunes start rolling in. UK producer George FitzGerald turned in this fantastic house remix of mournful electronic pop song Let Me Down Gently. Elly Jackson’s melancholic vocals match so nicely with the dance beat, creating a sonic atmosphere not unlike that of early La Roux tunes from 2009. For all you folks heading to EDC in Vegas right now, don’t forget to catch George FitzGerald’s set!
