It’s a good ol’ union as Brooklyn folk rockers American Authors team up with Los Angeles production whiz Gazzo on an indie dance leaning dazzler named Good Ol’ Boys. The infectious dance pop jam takes us back to the midst of summer shenanigans with its lively beats and laid back charm. This is one for those long days hanging out with your best of friends, running amok on the town. Watch the music video for Good Ol’ Boys below. Download/stream the single, here.

Los Angeles based production talent, Gazzo, has been thrilling us both as part of various collaborative projects and as a solo artist for well over two years. Whenever I encounter news of fresh Gazzo material, I can’t help but flounder about in excitement. Gazzo has reportedly put together a stunning new EP named Evolution, from which comes its first single, a vibrant soaring house aria named Long Way Home featuring honeyed nostalgic vocals by NYC singer songwriter Allie Crystal. I’d gladly take the long way home if I can listen to this fluidly sweeping, incandescent sparkling anthem that many more times in transit. Long Way Home is out now on various outlets, here. Gazzo will be following it up with his Evolution EP in November.

In the past several weeks, some stunning remixes of songs by SoCal virtuoso Crywolf have been surfacing. These remixes are but a testament to how influential and inspiring Crywolf is on his fellow musicians. The latest such potent piece comes from now Los Angeles based producer Gazzo, who gives Crywolf’s Wake [E-bow] an uplifting summer remake. “Two friends take a step in the darkness”. Apparently, they emerge out of that darkness, illuminated by the radiance of Gazzo’s brass spirited, dance vivacious remix. The remix’s savanna styled breezy allure even reminds me of some of my favorite 80′s songs. It’s certainly a fresh and unique take on Wake [E-bow] whcih comes from Crywolf’s acclaimed album Cataclasm.

Gazzo, who seems to have recently relocated to Los Angeles from the East Coast, returns this month with his own interpretation of The Neighbourhood’s smoggy smash hit Sweater Weather. The endearing honeyed love song goes animated future trap and indie house on Gazzo’s riveting and thrilling cover. There are some very Jack Ü moments on the treat, which is a free download, here.

This smooth yet thrilling remix of Gazzo and Larcy’s Running Home is a euphorically uplifting and blissful treat crafted by producers Peter Brennan & TCUP, a duo from New York. It’s a fist banging, high flying progressive house banger, one that’s ready to fill every nook and cranny of a cavernous arena filled with giddy and gleeful dancers. With the spring festival season just around the corner, the timing can’t be more perfect for this release.

It’s true, we may have already heard many amazing remixes of Echosmith hit Cool Kids, of all shapes, types, and sizes, but this one’s going to reel you in, big time. West Coast meets East Coast as Two Friends unites with Gazzo on an exhilarating, uplifting progressive house remix. Bump this one loud and your EDM-head friends will think you’re the cool kid, for sure. Thrilling build ups, killer drops, and big bold synths leave little else to ask for.

NYC/Jersey producer and oft featured IHM electronic artist Gazzo recently teamed up with Philadelphia’s Sweekuh on a killer remix. Their collaborative effort on New York indie pop band The Heydaze’s infectious tune Adderall results in a bombastic, uplifting, and buoyant indie electronic treat. Always swooning sax pair up with the song’s vibrant energy and summery swagger.

Two awesome previously featured electronic acts team up on this next massive Friday house banger, Follow Me. New York production duo Disco Fries got together with fellow East Coast producer Gazzo and created this vibrant, fist pumping vocal track that features Jones. The track was first premiered a few months ago at EDC Vegas, where I have a feeling it was a huge hit with the crowd. Now, they’ve set it free on Strictly Rhythm / Simply Delicious Music, and just in time for our weekend, too. Thanks, guys. I’m off on a long road trip later, and this is helping to pump me up!
