I can’t help but swell with pride every time amazing music arises from right here in my beloved Bay Area. The Bay’s own GARREN is back to impress with a smooth R&B soul jam named There She Go which the artist produced, arranged, composed, and performed all by himself. The bass woozy, guitar plump dose of sweet sonic ambrosia rolls in alongside news of a full length due out in early 2017. This fan of funkadelic and soulful acts like Ben Khan, Jai Paul, Tender, and Jack Garratt is incredibly excited over the news. You can count on me to be on top of any further news about the LP and fresh new tastes from the record.

Some weeks ago, I was ecstatic to encounter a producer named GARREN. Not only did his music impress me, but he’s from my very own San Francisco. It’s time for GARREN to represent, and he does so resplendently with a wicked new future bass and trap single named Bout It. By now, you should know how much I dig tracks with infinite amount of heady, near palpable texture. GARREN infuses Bout It with plenty of that good stuff. I’m elated to have stumbled upon a producer named GARREN, and to add icing to that cake, GARREN is from my very own San Francisco, too! The producer’s latest offering is a remix of James Blake’s haunting song I Am Sold. The edit takes the already mesmerizing and intoxicating original and gives it an even more sensual, steamy atmosphere. The future bass edit gives the already textured song even more clattering and echoing nuances. It’s a gorgeous, lavish, and resplendent new approach on the song.
