Galimatias’ most famed singles have been the producer’s work with Alina Baraz, but the LA by way of Denmark electronic artist has given us sensational solo tracks, too. It’s been two years since we last heard from Galimatias, and he’s finally returned with one such jam, a fresh intoxicating gem named Let Me Know. Shifty swerving slow-mo future bass keeps me in an entranced and heady state from start to finish. Galimatias even turns in his own hip hop vocals on the track, giving Let Me Know an additional layer of droopy, gooey allure. A strong scent of desire or longing emanates from steamy blistering, foggy inebriating Let Me Know. Galimatias’ new single is available from major retailers, here.

Having gotten so used to Galimatias’ resonating work with Alina Baraz, it’s easy to forget that the producer can easily apply his sublime soundscape craftmanship when Alina isn’t involved, too. Case in point, this jazzy, funky future bass remix of Porter Robinson’s dreamily reflective Sea Of Voices. Galimatias’ richly textured remix is the second track revealed off the Worlds Remixed album that Porter is dropping on October 2nd via Astralwerks. Sea Of Voices gets a huge transformation on Galimatias’ edit, taking on a sweeter essence and a more pointy, coquettish playfulness. Stream the remix on Spotify above, Soundcloud below. The Worlds Remixed album could very well be the finest remix album we’ve ever seen.

I can’t wait to catch Alina Baraz & Galimatias dole out their sensual and sleek electronic serenades when they play the super duper sold out Popscene at San Francisco’s DNA Lounge in exactly two weeks from now. In the meantime, let’s dance to a jolting remix of Alina Baraz & Galimatias’ Fantasy by Belgian producer The Magician. It’s a crisply bouncing, bass booming blend of future house and deep house, one that’s hypnotically pulsing and steady. The Magician’s remix is a free download if you head over to Soundcloud.

Alina Baraz & Galimatias are coming to San Francisco to melt a crowd of people in unison come September 30th, and it’s no surprise to me at all that the tickets for the Popscene presented event have already sold out. After all, everyone’s in love with their feathery, sensual music. But what if that soft, cottony sound gets drenched in graceful, breezy chill house? Hotel Garuda’s here to answer that question with a sublime remix of Alina Baraz & Galimatias’ Make You Feel. I think the answer would be… “wow”.  Bask in the glow of remix perfection as you float away to the Balearic luxuriance of the soothing yet propulsive sparkler. The dreamy treat will be available on iTunes come August 21st. Stream on Spotify above in the meantime, or Soundcloud below.

Alina Baraz and Galimatias have certainly succeeded at casting a sensual spell on us with their rippling, verdant brand of seductive, melodic electronic music. One of my favorite tracks from the singing and production duo is surely flirty yet soothing Fantasy, off their aptly named recent EP Urban Flora. The gently rippling and soulful track finally received a music video treatment, a fittingly fluid and alluring array of images.

Get ready to be transported to a magical world of dreamy, mellow enchantment and sensual neo-soul on Can I, a succulent collaboration between Alina Baraz and Danish producer Galimatias. It’s the two artist’s second single from their album Urban Flora. Alina’s gentle, alluring vocals pair beautifully with Galimatias’ rich and entrancing production. The two together fully demonstrate their capability to weave a world of haunting, simmering passion.

America’s Alina Baraz previously teamed up with Danish producer Galimatias on chill, future pop tune Pretty Thoughts. Well, they’re back at it again with Fantasy, an equally mellow and serene gem that sparkles the way sunlight does on a peacefully rippling lake. Pretty Thoughts might be chill, but there’s plenty of future soul tinted groove as the song carries on. Together, Alina baraz and Galimatias will be releasing an EP, titled Urban Flora, later this Fall.

Today seems to be filled with dreamy, otherwordly, atmospheric music. For another fine specimen, taste this exquisite tune Pretty Thoughts by Alina Baraz & Galimatias. American singer songwriter Alina’s smooth, soulful vocals are paired with relaxed, chilled out, minimalist production by Danish producer Galimatias. There’s a future pop-ish quality to the track that sounds like a really laid back, and much warmer Purity Ring, not unlike the softer moments in Purity Ring’s collaboration with producer Jon Hopkin’s (Clear The Air). Pretty Thoughts is off their Drifts single, which also includes the amazing, almost jazzy Make You Feel. Check it out below.
