Steve Void’s label Strange Fruits is at it again, presenting us with choice cuts from the electronic scene as part of a steady and reliable diet of fine tracks from the imprint. This time around, they highlight a song named Right Now from Australia’s Tom Budin and Toronto’s DLMT, who come together to give us a deep house anthem that nearly feels like a combination of Bastille and

gone springy vibrant, summer balmy house. Right Now can also be streamed via Spotify, here, and it’s a free download, here.

The fastest way to make me “lose control” is a ferocious beast of a high voltage dance thriller like this one, from Dutch producer Samuel Xantos. Once those high lunging, heavy jouncing beats and that exultant melody hits my ears, I can’t help but get up and throw myself all across the room to Lost. The electrifying anthem, a fierce incendiary banger from start to finish, is out on Launch Records. Prepare to dance your way through the holidays to the future house and progressive house behemoth, which can be purchased, here. There’s nothing like some chill melodic house to tenderize the heart on a frigid winter night. Norwegian and Swedish duo The Union comforts the soul and thaws our icy evening with Forgetting Yesterday, an electronic song that builds from mellow strumming Broken Back-like earthiness and summer balmy Kygo-evoking tranquility to great apexes of ebullient lunging Gryffin-esque euphoria. The soaring, lifting dazzler features

Petter Hedström on heartfelt vocals. Purchase/stream, here.

I know the holiday weekend is kicking off to a great start, but it’s only going to get better. Christmas is on Monday, and while we wait to open our presents, we can dance it up to this magnificent new electronic banger from NY production project Truth x Lies. The duo link up with singer songwriter and producer Jake Herring on Controlled, a sleek pumping, percussive shuffling deep house extravaganza. Controlled’s drum and bass rolls and elastic future house adornment adds much dimension to this thrilling track. Stream/download the song, here.

I’ve actually been jamming out to this next one for much of the month already, so really, this share is truly “for you”. It’s about time I introduced you to new dance project Bleach Baby, if you aren’t already familiar with the group. They make their debut with a massive banger named This Is For You, whose big beats and fiery flair are a pulse pumping eruption of UK house crossed with future house. The group takes cues from the likes of Don Diablo, The Magician, and Tchami, which comes as no surprise after dancing my heart out to the chunky beats and springy chords found on the song. Bleach Baby’s first single also recalls that electrifying energy and vibrancy oft associated with Kiesza and Clean Bandit. This Is For You is lifted from Bleach Baby’s forthcoming debut EP. Purchase the booming, resounding single, out via Liftoff Recordings and Armada Deep, here.

Who has time to ‘call’ anyone when there’s a slick swooning jam like this one to keep us thoroughly occupied? Los Angeles dance duo Lost Kings woos our hearts with torrid thrumming, buttery molten Don’t Call, a future-tinged house meets R&B pop banger. They even insert a dashing hip hop verse into the luscious anthem. Don’t Call will heat you up and leave you flushed on any cold winter night. We’ll be grooving out to this one into the new year. You can also stream the single via Spotify, here.

If it’s some heavy hitting house and dark pounding bass you’re hankering for today, let me introduce you to your new “obsession”. Florian Picasso, a mad genius of a producer when it comes to hard beats and rattling bangers, has shared a metallic whomping high voltage thriller named Obsession. This is a resolute and vehement stomper, a thorny future house meets deep visceral house beast that will leave you gasping for air by the time it’s over. Stream/download Obsession, here.

Over the weekend, NYC electronic extraordinaire Jai Wolf released his Kindred Spirits Remixes pack, an eight song collection involving a wide range of artists we love. The release includes this sleek propulsive, bouncy buoyant edit of Jai Wolf’s Gravity, featuring JMR, by ever dashing production duo Hotel Garuda (aka Candle Weather and Manila Killa). Their melodious thrusting, crisp bounding edit brings me right back to their show at the Recency Ballroom earlier this month, when I “danced on the moon” to their latest single and plenty of other Hotel Garuda treats amidst an exuberant crowd. In a way, it’s rather fitting this remix came out right after. The effects of “gravity” slip away as we hop and leap in delirious joy to their blithesome house remix. Jai Wolf’s Kindred Spirits Remixes release, which also features the likes of Robotaki, Party Pupils, Vindata, and more, is available from iTunes, here.

When I stumbled upon this fresh remix of Liam Payne’s Bedroom Floor earlier today, I couldn’t help but start to move to its springy elasticity and vibrant charm. I immediately looked up the producer behind the magic, Leowi, to learn that he’s a young newcomer from Lithuania. He’s given the hit single a fabulous house re-work, full of slick energy and balmy vivacious beats. You can download his remix, here. For a recent fine original from the producer, stream Leowi’s deep house extravaganza, U Wanna Do, below, and dance the night away to his summer lustrous banger.
