Betty Who joining Lemaitre on a fresh and funky new tune is a dream come true. We’ve been fans of the Australian pop sensation for a very long time, and we love the new music she’s been releasing now that she’s gone back to an independent career, too. She lends that irresistible voice to Norwegian electronic project Lemaitre’s scintillating new song, Rocket Girl, which was co-written with DagnyWe fly across the universe with them, riding high on Lemaitre’s French house-styled electro, so rife with sumptuous funk guitar and juicy plump synths. Suddenly, I’m imagining Grimes dancing to Rocket Girl alongside Elon Musk as he launches one of his Falcon 9′s. Seems fitting, doesn’t it? Rocket Girl has been tapped as the theme song for X Games Norway, which kicked off yesterday. Lemaitre will be performing at Sasquatch on May 25 and Austin City Limits Festival in October. Stream/download Rocket Girl, here.

French producer Bolivard has captured the essence of both funk in the jungle on his flashy new banger, Maya Funk. If Caribou, Cut Copy, and Daft Punk teamed up for a monumental jam session, it’d probably result in the glorious, glamorous disco funk and electro house that Bolivard has crafted for us on his sensational new tune. The artist, who’s also taken on the role of graphic designer and illustrator at newly minted label Cookie Records, inspires us to strut our way across the room in bliss to his lush dazzler. Maya Funk is the second single revealed off Cookie Records’ Crispy Groove Compilation. Visit the first single, Patawawa’s Lie, via our recent feature, here. Maya Funk is available, here.

Though Stop isn’t a brand new track from French legends Justice, anything fresh from the duo, including a music video, is cause for celebration.

Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay surprise us with a spiffy new animated video for the track off their excellent 2016 album Woman just as they’re preparing to perform at Google I/O tech festival tomorrow. The set will be livestreamed on YouTube. I’m some glitzy French house will spruce up your week and propel you over hump day. Justice is also playing a ton of festivals this summer in Europe. But they won’t be making it stateside till the fall, when they hit Life Is Beautiful and Austin City Limits. Watch Justice’s show at Google I/O conference tomorrow, here.

Do you ever feel like you miss that classic electro house vibe? Have you wondered where that epic French house sound has gone? Well, guess who’s brought it right back and done it with much aplomb, too? California production veteran Wolfgang Gartner, that’s who! He brings us a whole lot of blissful nostalgia on Ching Ching, a song as glamorously luxuriant as its subject matter (that bling, of course). Soulful vocals, epic build ups, and anthemic drops accompany the smooth electro banger. Ching Ching is the sort of track that continues to grow on you ten-fold with every listen, until it becomes your absolute favorite new dance song. Grab the tune, here.

Myd, a songwriter and producer from Paris, is signed to esteemed French label Ed Banger Records, alongside other beloved producers like Justice, Riton, SebastiAN, Breakbot, and more. So it should come as no surprise that his music is as swanky seductive and glamorously intoxicating as it is on new single The Sun, a spacey spiraling, woozy whirring dose of luminous French pop, nu-disco, and wonky electro. The Sun is like trademark Ed Banger French disco house meets Metronomy and MGMT. It’s lifted from Myd’s forthcoming EP, All Inclusive. You can purchase/stream the single via major outlets, here.

It’s been ages since our favorite interstellar robots, Daft Punk, have graced us with new music, and no, they’re not playing the trash fence at Burning Man, or going on a tour announced on April Fool’s Day, or headlining the next big festival, but they do seem to like treating us to a rare collaboration every once in awhile. Aside from the duo’s previous world dominating music with The Weeknd, the producers now surprise us with a sudden appearance on a new song from Australia based Berlin project Parcels. That’s right, Parcels and Daft Punk wrote and produced a song together at a secret location in Paris earlier this year. Out of the session comes glitzy grooving Overnight, a shimmering twirler of a cool, glamorous jam. We should’ve known how well Parcels’ smooth electro funk and swanky pop would go with Daft Punk’s plucky luscious French house. The combination of the two feels like Jungle gone Daft Punk. Growing five piece sensation Parcels is touring Europe for the year, with stops at all major festivals including a pair of shows at Glastonbury this very weekend. You can purchase/stream Overnight via additional sources, here.

I know we’ve already shared some magnificent remixes of Lorde’s triumphant hit single Green Light these past weeks, but never would I have guessed the next can’t miss edit would come by way of electro funk wizards Chromeo! Get ready to bust out your best disco dance moves as we launch into this French house intoned, airy brisk transformation. Chromeo’s “green light” is a neon green, and it reflects brilliantly off of a revolving mirror ball hanging high above our heads. Not only am I now reminded how much I miss Chromeo’s swaggering grooves, but my excitement for Lorde’s new album Melodrama burns even more intense. Melodrama arrives soon on June 16th.

Perhaps you were hiding under a rock last month and you somehow managed to miss a brand new Justice track. I’m astonished that such a huge release would somehow slip past you, but don’t worry, the legendary French duo have unleashed an uber cool music video for Randy. The video is a “live installation” by Thomas Jumin, an “audio, video, disco” delight, pun intended. Randy is sleek and shiny, funky and smooth. Randy is lifted from Justice’s third album, Woman, which the duo have now announced will be released on November 18th. It’s a magnificent time for French electro fans like me, considering a new Justice album is on the horizon and a whole lot of Daft Punk rumors are floating about. Randy can be purchased as a single from various outlets, here.

There have been an inordinate amount of remixes when it comes to Miike Snow’s Genghis Khan, possibly the most infectious song of 2016, yet none of them have been as swanky chic and dapper sharp as this grooving edit by a Frenchman who goes by the production moniker Factuel. He gives Genghis Khan a French makeover with his deep disco house remix. Its smooth velour and feisty charm are irresistible. A blissful boogie around the room is unavoidable.

Get ready to hop out of your seat and boogie on down to a magnificent whirling, glamorously pulsing mass of indie dance and French disco house, courtesy of, who else, but the great and talented Fred Falke. Fred has remixed Los Angeles trio Midnight Faces’ new single Heavenly Bodies. The torrid track takes this body straight to dance heaven. The remix is a free download at Soundcloud. The captivating Midnight Faces original, mixed by Abe Seiferth (DFA, Yeasayer, Bear In Heaven, RAC), is an evocative treat that unites 80′s new wave with dark post-punk. Stream, here.
