If  all conversation were as exciting and thrilling as Fenech-Soler’s new single, I’d probably be a little less introverted and a little more extroverted in social settings. The English electropop veterans dish up opulent shimmering chords and vivacious beats on Conversation, the second single from the duo’s new album ZILLA, due out February 3rd on So Recordings. Conversation is as catchy as they come, a dance ready burst of rainbow jubilation. Fenech-Soler will be embarking on a tour of the US, UK, and Europe come end of the month. Imagine moving your sweaty body in euphoria to Conversation, live. It’s an exhilarating thought, isn’t it? Watch an album teaser for ZILLA, here. OFFICIAL VID: Fenech-Soler – In Our Blood

November 19, 2013

British electropop act Fenech-Soler released a video for their airy, pleasant track In Our Blood. It’s a great, synthy anthem off their sophomore album Rituals, out right now. It’s the radio friendly type of infectious music that you can’t help but enjoy tons and start bopping your head to. Think Atlas Genius and Gold Fields.

Fenech-Soler White Remix of Everything Everything’s Don’t Try

September 13, 2013

I’m very fond of UK alt/art rockers Everything Everything and their album Arc from earlier this year. Don’t Try is definitely one of several favorites off the release. My curiosity was immediately piqued when I saw that fellow UK electropop act Fenech-Soler had offered up a remix of Don’t Try. When I hit play, I was expecting the usual synthy dance ready sped up remix, but boy, was I wrong! I was thrown off a bit at first by the slow approach, but it’s really quite fantastic with the subtle wobbles and trippy arrangement. The Fenech-Soler White Remix grew on me immensely with every passing second. Check it out below, then revisit the original version of Don’t Try below that. I just realized I haven’t had the luck to catch Everything Everything live, yet. Here’s to hoping they’ll travel across the pond soon!

I’ve featured remixes done by NY duo The Chainsmokers quite a few times now, and there’s something to be said in that. Here’s their latest, a remix of English synthpop act Fenech-Soler’s Last Forever. It’s an uplifting, melodic electronic feel good track. I could always use a dose of this kind of euphoric music every so often. Watch the video for the original track below. It’s on their new album Rituals out on September 16.

Maiyu

February 28, 2013

Yep, still on the electronic. Maiyu is Fenech-Soler’s catchy new single. There’s a tribal quality to the beats that is pretty delicious. Along with the smooth vocals, there’s something very Miike Snow meets Swedish House Mafia about the track. The British electropop band are working on a sophomore album for later this year. I’m eager to hear more.
