Well, we seem to be on a splendid Moving Castle kick tonight, but who can blame us when their roster of fine talent continues to present us with an endless stream of incredible new songs and remixes this week? Our latest MC dose of sonic rapture comes courtesy of Candle Weather and Manila Killa, well loved individually and widely adulated in unison as Hotel Garuda. They’ve taken on NYC producer TJANI’s sassy seductive sunset house jam Pad Thai, featuring honeyed vocals by Gracie, giving it a darker look with a dramatic deep house rendering. Hotel Garuda’s remix entrances and mesmerizes with its visceral beats and four to the floor cadence in its opening bars before tossing us some delectable curve balls by shifting into a more atmospheric and mellifluous gear. Before we know it, we’re getting jounced around by exhilarating future house styled elasticity and a taut vigor that leaves our hearts palpitating in excitement. But Hotel Garuda makes sure to leave us in a state of astonishment and wonder by returning to a dreamy contemplative, beautifully expansive style of sound by the end of their remix. Quite a dynamic journey, isn’t it? In the course of just about four and a half minutes, we’ve had an epic adventure that leaves us breathless. I’ll never look at pad thai the same. The remix is a limited time free download, here. Better be quick!

Kid Froopy shows us how it’s done on Show Me, his contribution to Deadbeats’ inaugural compilation album Volume 1. The producer explains that when he first started writing the song, he wasn’t sure where it was going. As a result, we’re taken through a plethora of moods and tangible feels as he leads us on an expansive journey with the stunning trap and bass masterpiece. Deadbeats’ Compilation Vol. 1 also features songs by Rezz, Pusher, Zeds Dead, Nebbra, SMLE, Blount, Megalodon, and Memorecks. Yep, it’s that insane. You can purchase the nine track release from iTunes.

Windswept couldn’t be a more appropriate name for a Crywolf song. The Echo Park singer songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist has proven himself a master storyteller and an epic troubadour with the sweeping sagas he’s given us in the past, songs that spanned both space and time with their wealth of staggering emotion. And, if you’ve ever experienced those sprawling songs live at a Crywolf show, you know just how brilliant this sonic genius can be from the stage as well. New song Windswept begins with tender harmonies, but as always, it gradually blossoms and builds into great cathartic peaks, seamlessly melding acoustic and electronica for a grandiose symphonic experience. Crywolf seems to bare all on Windswept, leaving his vulnerable heart out for all to see and feel. In turn, we find out that we are all but kindred spirits in this human condition. Windswept is a free download, here.

A Seven Lions, Illenium, and Said The Sky track has to be the most heavenly of all collaborations. Prior to today, I wouldn’t have predicted that such an epic event would ever occur, yet the planets have aligned, and here we are, getting swept away by a divine partnership among the leading melodic bass producers of the world. Goosebumps rise on my skin as I lose myself in the beauty of Rush Over Me, beckoned by HALIENE’s crystalline voice and the trio’s three dimensional, mellifluous lush dubstep production. Rush Over Me is a deeply emotional voyage, and it’s out now on iTunes.

I can’t get enough of San Francisco producer Giraffage’s recent single Bring Me Your Love, featuring silken wiry vocals by THEA. I just can’t. That song is pure future bass magnificence. I welcome a remix of that track by Canadian duo Tennyson with open arms, knowing full well that a Tennyson remix is sure to be pure genius. Sure enough, Tennyson’s Bring Me Your Love is transcendental, a jazzy ambient, vast cinematic future makeover that gives the track an even greater Arca and FKA Twigs feel, but with a satin chic velour and a syrupy intoxicating flow. Longing is more than palpable in the edit’s yearning strings and pining drums. This one pulls my heart right out of my chest.

New Horizons is a clever name for TJH87′s latest. After all, the Finnish electronic duo takes us on an epic journey far and wide with their grand expansive masterpiece. New Horizons, though clothed in sleek and driving progressive house threads, is also influenced by a plethora of genres, including indie rock, disco, and even trance. Its vast soundscape and sweeping vistas offer up increasingly finespun detail with every new wide eyed listen. TJH87 offers us an invitation to join them on a magnificent foray into the unknown, and I readily take their hands and alight on this beautiful sojourn, one as much of self exploration as it is of new frontiers. New Horizons is out now on Youth Control. Snag the track over at Beatport.

I know I’ve been a broken record when it comes to my repeated praise for anonymous producer k?d, but every track the enigmatic act has released in past weeks has only been increasingly redeeming of my poetics. In fact, today’s mind blowing reveal is full on vindicating, one of the most brilliant remixes I’ve come across in some time. k?d takes on Daft Punk, a brave feat, and this immaculate edit of Random Access Memory hit Doin It Right literally sends shivers down my spine. The future bass and ambient electronic transformation that Daft Punk undergoes under the deft hands of k?d is transcendental, a tactile adventure and dramatic construction that shoots me straight into the space and beyond. k?d’s remix is sheer genius, a wondrous journey across the cosmos and through time. Download this remix for free, here. You might end up listening to it on loop for hours on end. It’s that good.

It’s been a long time since we’ve heard from Gemini. The English electronic producer last dropped an EP in 2012, but he’s re-emerged to tease us with a very long awaited debut album named Wanderlust. Though a release date has not been announced for Wanderlust, Gemini has unleashed its lead single, a breathtaking, sweeping dubstep inspired electronic anthem named Time To Share, for which he released a panoramic music video today. Time To Share is an epic, its cinematic expanse and rich emotion so vast and bountiful that it seems capable of crossing worlds and defying time. Gemini’s video doesn’t traverse between worlds, but it does travel across seas and nations. Considering the title of his coming full length, I’m guessing this might be a uniting theme on his new material. Snag Time To Share from various outlets, here.

I was incredibly enthralled by this rager yesterday, and figured it would be the perfect song to close off a session with. Dutch electronic duo Vicetone’s Ensemble is a grandiose, majestic electronic anthem. It’s about as regal as an EDM track can get, I can practically hear bugle calls and war cries in the back of my mind. And then, there’s that epic electric guitar! Oh, my! Michael Bay, pay attention for your next billion dollar Hollywood blockbuster!
