British band Eliza And The Bear has unleashed a music video for their single Friends, and the song might be the most sweeping we’ve heard yet from the band’s long awaited debut album, which they recorded in Nashville with Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, Of Monsters and Men, Modest Mouse, James Bay). Friends is bright and big, an eruption of anthemic indie rock and moving alt pop. It has the potential to be their biggest hit yet, on top of being such a heart swelling celebration of those you hold dear. Eliza And The Bear’s self titled debut album will be out April 8th via Capitol.

It Gets Cold is the second single from British band Eliza And The Bear’s forthcoming self titled debut album, and it’s wonderfully endearing with bountiful indie rock lushness and melodic folk pop charm. The jubilantly wistful single is out today on Capitol Records, and the band has revealed a whimsical and fun video for the gem. Eliza And The Bear will be headlining their own tour early next year, then releasing their highly anticipated debut album on April 1st.

I swear, there’s always something magnificent and naturally charming about song’s that involve the word “lion” in it someway or the other, regardless the genre. British quintet Eliza And The Bear’s latest is a lushly melodic, folk tinged indie pop treat named Lion’s Heart. It surges with a triumphant, courageous beauty that befits what you might expect of a lion’s heart. The luminous Of Monster’s and Men evoking song is a taste off Eliza And The Bear’s forthcoming debut album, due out in early 2016.

Eliza And The Bear bring some major energy and spirit on their latest track Love Don’t Play Fair. It’s a departure from some of their earlier, folksier tunes, with its driving beat, soaring melody, and buoyant synths. It’s also ridiculously infectious and hooking. A slick bassline gives the track a hint of Foals like dance rock flavor, while the vocals remind me of recently buzzing indie rock band Waterstrider. Love Don’t Play Fair will be out June 21st on Capitol Records. The British quintet also unleashed a music video for their single Make It On My Own. Stream below.

They’re debuting some fantastic folksy tunes on BBC Radio lately, including this new one from British quintet Eliza And The Bear. I’m much delighted to see them return with a single. They deliver fully with their radiant and melodic folk pop on Make It On My Own. The track was recorded during recent album sessions with producer Jacquire King (Kings Of Leon, Of Monsters and Men). Triumphant horns and a stomping beat join the song’s rich instrumentals for a sweeping soundscape. The catchy song is the title track from a new EP. Make It On My Own will be released June 7th on Capitol Records.

British five piece Eliza And The Bear are streaming their warm and luminous song Talk, off their Light It Up EP. They again demonstrate how sun kissed and beautiful their melodic folk pop music can be, both uplifting and introspective. The anthemic energy of the song reminds me of Imagine Dragons, but the charming pop flavors remind me of Grouplove and The Griswolds. The Light It Up EP is out right now on Mi Familia Music. Eliza and the Bear is currently on tour in the UK through the end of the month. Watch the video for the infectious title track below, in case you missed it last time.

I’m quite fond of London quintet Eliza and the Bear and their recent new tune Light It Up, and today brings us a video for the uplifting, warm alt pop flavored tune. The song is the title track off their new EP, out earlier this year on Mi Familia Music. Light It Up is such a sunny folksy gem. It’s a song that makes you want to drop all the burdens bothering you for the day and go frolick in the gorgeous sunlight, carefree and wild.

London quintet Eliza and the Bear unveiled a new single on BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe show earlier today, and it’s not available for our listening pleasure! The new track is named Light It Up, and as the name foretells, its a bright, uplifting alt pop tune with a touch of Eliza and the Bear’s folksy pop style. The optimistic, joyful gem is also the title track off their new EP, coming August 3 on Mi Familia Music. Eliza and the Bear will embark on a UK tour come September.
