Last month, Dutch production team DROELOE dropped a lavishly constructed future trap opus named Many Words, on which they fused orchestral instrumentals with brassy swelling synths and airy light vocals. You can listen to that much adored single in its original splendor, here. New York’s JNTHN STEIN has since turned in an intricately chiming, fastidiously charging remix. It’s astounding how he’s managed to match his edit’s fast-paced vigor with a nimble agility that oozes sophistication and charm. How can one track be so dizzying and exhilarating, yet elaborate and articulate? The track is part of DROELOE’s official Many Words Remixes pack. Stream/download, here.

Honeyed chanteuse Nevve really does seem to be everywhere these days, as we’ve already said plenteous times prior. Alongside collaborations with Manila Killa and Robotaki, she’s now turned up on a fresh new single from Dutch production talents DROELOE, too, lending her enthralling vocals to the pair’s future bass stand out, BACKBONE. DROELOE’s grand charging, majestic marching trap and bass swivels and thunders resolutely, creating a widescreen and cinematic voyage for us listeners. Though its synths hit hard, and though both its bass and fierce lyrics carry a peppery bite, BACKBONE is a graceful and limber work of beautiful art. DROELOE explains: “This single is all about not letting your doubts get to your head, so we hope it inspires you to do something you’ve been holding back from.” You can stream/download the inspiring anthem, here.

Belgian producer Taska Black, a definite name to watch as we prepare to transition into the new year, has partnered up with surging Dutch production duo DROELOE on a dramatically gripping, cinematic roaming future trap original named Running Away, featuring Amsterdam electronic duo CUT_ on ethereal vocals. Though an acute jabber and a resolute marcher, there’s a classy grace and kingly grandeur to the magnificent song. Running Away evokes majestic landscapes and regal peaks. Charli XCX’s Boys made quite an impact this summer. Not only is it an irresistible bop, but its video was a stereotype breaking agglomeration of, well, boys… Not just any boys, but lots and lots of talented artists and musicians, too. In the wake of the tune comes a growing stream of covers and remixes. While we’re still reeling from SAKIMA’s cover of Boys, we quickly fall for Dutch production project DROELOE’s luminous and frothy remix, too. Bright eyed chirpiness intermingles with churning intensity on their playful and flirtatious future trap edit. Stream/download, here.

Nevve’s sweet dewy vocals have been everywhere this year. The vocalist must be the most popular singer when it comes to electronic music collaborations these days, having teamed up with the likes of ILLENIUM, Jayceeoh, Elephante, Pluto, Kill Paris, and more. The latest track she’s lent that voice to is a gorgeous new DROELOE track entitled Jump. The Dutch production duo has crafted a dreamy enchanting future trap gem with iridescent synths and a nimble bounce. DROELOE’s new single is more of a graceful skip and a balletic hop than an aggressive, forceful jump. With each leap, I float higher into the sky on Jump’s wondrous effervescence. You can also stream Jump, which is out on Monstercat, via Spotify, here.

Those gifted Dutch producers are at it again, doling out shiver inducing beauty on a brilliant new original named Broken. DROELOE and San Holo team up on the dreamy future bass and chillstep aria, which features crystalline enchanting vocals by CUT_. I can’t help but picture wind chimes swaying in a soft entrancing, cool billowing breeze. If anything’s broken here, it’s me, into a million pieces by this heartrending gem. The effervescent electronic track is out on bitbird. You can also stream Broken on Spotify, here.

It’s a full on Dutch affair as producers DROELOE infects us with ridged syncopation and buzzing swells on In Time, a gripping single that even features Belle Doron, the spellbinding vocalist from IHM extolled indie electronic project and duo to watch CUT_. The sands of time reverse as DROELOE take us back into the past with their reminiscing captivator, plumps with gleaming shards of grandeur and rotund rumbling bass. Dutch duo DROELOE is fast rising in the ranks of electronic acts to watch. Though I’ve only visited the Shibuya District in Tokyo once in my life, and very briefly at that, I find myself transported back to that colorful and vibrant, flashy and bustling world by DROELOE’s new trap instrumental. The production duo’s Shibuya is exotic and fresh. For me, the track takes extra flight around the 1:54 mark when Eastern strings kick in vivaciously. As someone with an Asian heritage, Shibuya suddenly feels both familiar and new, its wiry intimate strings framed by DROELOE’s skittering beats and percolating synths. Shibuya is full of wonder and beauty, a sure fire escape from the mundane suburbia of everyday life. The track is available as a limited free download, here.
