I’ve gushed aplenty over my love for Portugal. the Man’s psychedelic funk joyride Feel It Still, and I’ve given Lido’s remix of the track endless adulation as well. Today, we target our praise ats a new edit of the magnificent song by Dallas producer Medasin. His remix is nothing short of brilliant, too. Feel It Still goes twilight chill and dreamy surreal on this sublimely mellow future beats rendering. Medasin’s Feel It Still is more like “feel it forever”, and it’s out now on iTunes, here.

Enter a misty surreal, foggy swirling world alongside Spanish starlet Sofi de la Torre as she links up with guest vocalist Taylor Bennett on her latest single, Views Of You. Fleecy plush, feathery soft Views Of You is a supple hovering, poignantly reflective beauty. If there’s any moment to coin the sub-genre name “dream R&B”, it would probably be now, expressly for Views Of You. Sofi de la Torre’s outstanding new single caresses us ever so gently, yet it has the striking ability to drive straight into the heart and draw the deepest sighs.

In but a little over a week, Australian duo Peking Duk will light up the Independent in San Francisco with their music. I’m pretty sure that their set is going to include brisk vivacious hit anthem Stranger, which features spunky Swedish pop starlet Elliphant on guest vocals. In the meantime, Peking Duk has released a new set of official remixes as part two of a remix package for Stranger, and the four track addendum features this smooth bounding edit by Los Angeles’ Jackal. His Stranger is a cool caressing, soft billowing glider. My heart glows from the dreamy pastels effusing from Jackal’s remix. Peking Duk’s Stranger remix package part 2 is out now on Spotify and it features additioanl edits by Wax Motif, Benson, and Faux Tales. Catch the pair at the Independent in SF on February 18th.

Actually Smiling is a song that will do exactly just that, leave you actually smiling. This diaphonous shifting, pastel flickering delight comes from Geotic, a side project of Will Wiesenfeld, better known as California electronic musician Baths. The dreamy introspective number will leave you in a blissed out state of trance, and it’s the lead single from Geotic’s third full length, Abysma, due out March 31st via Ghostly. I have a feeling my own dreams tonight will be sublime and relaxing after having surrendered myself to this warm swathe of euphoria. You can pre-order Abysma from Ghostly, here.

The captivating new live video for Zimmer’s Lost In Your Mind, featuring Fhin, is the perfect opportunity to ensure you haven’t missed out on the stunning collaboration since its appearance earlier this month. The xx like slick strings meet an atmospheric lush yet languid intoxicating electronic soundscape on this passionate burner. In a way, it’s fitting that Lost In Your Mind comes from the brilliant minds of two Parisian artists. Lost In Your Mind is like a brisk walk down the romantic streets of Paris at night, its brilliant lights flashing in the background while your mind hastily and feverishly twists with longing. You’re lost in a crowd of faceless shadows, but you barely notice. Zimmer and Fhin turn in an arresting performance on the downtempo dance song in their ruddy glowing video. Lost In Your Mind, which features Fhin as co-creator as well as vocalist and guitarist, can be found on Zimmer’s new EP, Ceremony, out now via Roche Musique. Purchase and stream from major services, here.

Come tomorrow night, New Jersey’s Clams Casino will be lighting it up with his syrupy intoxicating music at Mezzanine in San Francisco. I’m sure excited fans can’t hold still as they await the event. Dutch producer San Holo quells some of those jitters as he remixes Clams Casino’s I’m God, giving it a divine makeover overflowing with heavenly synths. We’re taken for a galactic joyride by the vast and profound edit, a near spiritual future bass, trap, and melodic bass experience I find grandly soothing and dreamy surreal. For a moment, we all feel like gods. Download San Holo’s remix, here.

It seems rather fitting that a new Tennis song should arise right before I embark on this year’s Outside Lands Music Festival adventure. Oftentimes when I think of a band, memories of watching them live drift back into my mind, and thoughts of Tennis tends to bring me back to their Panhandle Stage set at Outside Lands in 2012. I remember it like it was yesterday, and I gladly lose myself in the dreaminess of the Denver based husband wife duo’s new song, Ladies Don’t Play Guitar. Obviously, the song’s title and its lyrics are offered up in a rather tongue in cheek manner, and the indie pop two piece go extra fuzzy on the song, giving us a rather woozy funk flavored electronic rock number. It all feels very Cults gone Toro Y Moi. For a song named Ladies Don’t Play Guitar, Tennis sure go heavy with the posh riffs. It’s been two years since the last Tennis album. Perhaps we’ll be hearing news of a new one soon.

Autograf’s Heartbeat is on the receiving end of some magnificent remixes spread across a wide expanse of electronic genres. We turn from last week’s ebullient jouncing disco house remix by Solidisco to a future soulful, ethereal floating chill trap edit by Maryland’s Dirty Chocolate. The fizzy sweet, dreamy inebriating remix by the OWSLA and Moving Castle collective producer is R&B smooth and flawless fleek, with plenty of soothing space to breathe. You’ll want to take long breaths and let out deep sighs to this one.
