I rarely have trouble falling asleep at night, yet I’m a night owl who’s usually still “sleepless” in the wee hours of the morning. In other words, I’m sleepless by choice. Who could choose to go to sleep when sweet music like this song is wafting through our ears and seeping through our souls? Chicago’s much revered and ever versatile electronic trio Autograf places us in a blissful trance with Sleepless In NYC, a weightless wafting, dreamy meditative, yet pellucid throbbing and acute percolating ambient house meets thorny trap piece. Smooth lissome vocals by a mysterious vocalist add to the song’s plush and fleecy effect. We float high above NYC’s concrete jungle underneath a phosphorescent moon as we feel the sharp tugs of a wistful yearning on our hearts. Autograf’s Sleepless In NYC is available via major platforms, here.

Deep house meets gossamer enchanting pop on dreamy ticking Far Away Place, a new single from Portuguese production project Xinobi that features Margarida Falcão from Vaarwell on sensational vocals. Chill disco beats endow this atmospheric entrancing beauty which Xinobi describes as: “A song about a secret place where we celebrate life. Where love is the key. Where Trump’s not on the guest list.” Far Away Place is a sublime escape. It rescues us and takes us to a sonic utopia. The single is out now on Discotexas. Snag it from major retailers, here.

Satin swooning Escape comes from CADE’s fresh EP Care, out today. The Los Angeles based artist easily convinces me to escape with him with his sensual grooving song. Delicately bouncing deep house constitutes the rich foundation for this opulent dance track, but CADE tops it off with some future vibing R&B, resulting in a luscious sleek yet lively percolating affair. Stream CADE’s Care EP on Soundcloud and purchase from various outlets, here.

This epic Australian affair will leave you in a sea of ecstasy. The ridiculously amazing remix, an edit of SAFIA’s Embracing Me by Future Classic’s Hayden James. The original and SAFIA’s signature mellifluous crooning are already such a rousing combination of soulful pop and future bass. Hayden James gives the song additional weightless lilt and gentle bounce. I’m swallowed up by its warm aura and tender beats, lost in its soft underbelly of Gryffin like (but more subdued) summery joy. You can purchase the original from iTunes.

Nearly a full year ago, a mysterious band named Eastside swooped out of nowhere to steal our hearts with an incredible song named Ellie, which brought together Chris Brown’s Loyal and Ed Sheeran’s Don’t, resulting in a brand new creature of moving beauty. While the remixes of that song ran pretty rampant throughout that year, it’s been awhile since we’ve heard any rendition of Ellie. Until now, because we’re diving into a bouncy, chill house remix of the song, seamlessly crafted by Norwegian producer Dunisco. While it keeps the track’s laid back charm quite intact, Dunisco gives it an extra dose of infectious springiness and deep house vigor. It’s a much welcome, if not soothingly euphoric manner of re-visiting Ellie. Download Duniscos’ remix, here.

SoulCircuit – Rolling With Me (I Got Love) [Audio] ft. Maverick Sabre

South London production actSoulCircuit’s latest electronic offering is a luscious gem that features early IHM favorite Maverick Sabre. Rolling With Me (I Got Love) is an infectious and sublime chill house track. The song’s plush atmosphere is the perfect foundation for Maverick Sabre’s incredible voice, which I’d often be reminded of by acts like Alex Clare and John Newman over the past years. The downtempo treat is available now on iTunes.
