It’s been awhile since we last heard from Django Django, one of our favorite British art rock and psych rock bands. In fact, it’s been two years since their sophomore album Born Under Saturn blew critics and fans away. So, it’s with much great pleasure that I encountered news of a third album plus a fresh new single named Tic Tac Toe. If you’re as familiar with the band as we are, you’ll instantly fall in love with them all over again once they drench us with their delirious brand of spiraling electronica and rock, which comes by way of a fittingly frenetic visualizer. Tic Tac Toe’s kaleidoscopic rock carries some surfy undertones, too. We have some time to wait till Django Django’s new album Marble Skies arrives on January 28th, but I’m sure they’ll be previewing more treats from the record in the meantime. We’ll be waiting. Pre-order Marble Skies, here.

Django Django is already responsible for one of my favorite new tunes of the year thanks to First Light, but now, the UK band has followed that spectacular treat up with a new tune named Reflections, also off their forthcoming album Born Under Saturn. Psychedelic synths, heady horns, and soothing harmonies swirl around each other in a dizzying manner as the track charges forward smoothly and breathlessly. It leaves me much impatient for the new album, out May 5th via Ribbon Music.

How good is that new Django Django, huh? So good that I’m sharing First Light again, via its new official video. It’s been a long wait for some new material from the British artsy rock band but they’ve made it all worthwhile with the engrossing, psych tinged gem. Between the song reveal and this video’s unleashing, Django Django has indeed announced a new album. Born Under Saturn will be out May 5th via Ribbon Music!

Django Django have returrned, much to the jubilation of many, including myself. Though the British band have not announced a follow up to their much loved debut album from 2012, they have delivered a delicious new song named First Light. It’s a scrumptiously psychedelic flavored, spinning kaleidoscope of an art rock treat.

Up and coming British art rockers Django Django created a cool new clip for their single WOR. They traveled to India to film with the famed “Well of Death riders” in Allahabad. It’s effing insane what goes on there. Effing insane. Yes, this ish really goes in the world. Crazy. WOR is a great track off Django Django’s 2012 self titled debut.

Django Django

O_O That was my reaction the first few bars of this song Default from Django Django. The new British band blurs a ton of genres in their psychedelic, noise rock, post punk, beat infused, hard-to-describe, bluesy, even a little disco pop sound… This is definitely groundbreaking and innovative. Wow. You must check this out. Whether you like it or not, you have to agree this is unique. I just listened to it on repeat several times.
