I don’t know about you, but I still can’t get over East London trio Sälen’s wispy enchanting electronic pop song Diseasey. They follow that candy coated gem up with another finespun slice of crisp electropop and honeyed R&B named The Drwg. The soft blushing, smooth gliding slow groover is as addictive as the very drug called love that Sälen coos about sensually. In case you forgot how charming and whimsically playful dark yet ethereal Diseasey is, re-visit the gem below.

Though it’s been a couple months since elusive East London trio Sälen revealed their enchanting tune Diseasey, I still can’t get enough of the gem. Let’s re-visit the wispy electropop treat via its brand new music video, in case you’re craving for another spin of the tune or missed it the first time around. Sälen ventures into chill electronic territory with the candy coated gem, a song which the trio describe as a soundtrack for all the “bad decisions that felt so right at the time”. The effervescent whimsicality of the song certainly brings Grimes to mind, but with the sparkling spring of Mura Masa. Snag this charming treat from iTunes.

Elusive East London trio Sälen premiered a gorgeous new tune on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show the other night. Chime filled Diseasey is an affliction I’m more than happy to be infected by. Its weightlessly wispy electronic pop is cool to the touch and effervescent enchanting.

Sälen ventures into chill electronic territory with the candy coated gem, which the trio describe as a song to “soundtrack the bad decisions that felt so right at the time”. It’s “one for anybody who has found themselves in an awkward lust-driven situation and is left asking both themselves and their new pal, why am I in bed with you?”. Sounds like the perfect theme song for that moment before the walk of shame. Diseasey is out now via Machine Records.
