Let’s put some pep in our step with a more upbeat and vibrant jam, courtesy of Portuguese electronic act and Discotexas co-founder Moullinex! He brings summery Balearic percussion and exuberant disco on Take A Chance. It’s a feel good dance pop song that feels like a tall glass of cool water on a hot, sweltering day. Take A Chance is an addictive, irresistible treat from Moullinex’s new album, Elsewhere, out May 18th via Discotexas and !K7.

OFFICIAL VID: Rebeka – Melancholia

All of a sudden, I seem to be stumbling into some Eastern European bands! I’m still stuck listening to Parks, Squares and Alleys on a daily basis since that great find earlier this week, and now, I’ve run into a Polish indie synthpop duo named Rebeka. Here’s their recent video for the glammy, disco tinged, synthy ballad Melancholia. They’re releasing a debut album titled Hellada in May over on the other side of the world.

I also checked out Rebeka’s Stars, below, which they released last year and showcases fine vocals and electric, classy disco sound again.
