Hold on to your hats as we dive deep into this next dazzling sonic treat, a remix of Bingo Players’ Cry by A-Trak and DiscoTech. If you’re wondering if you lost a marble somewhere because you already remember a wicked Cry remix that involved A-Trak, don’t fret. A-Trak did indeed team up with Phantoms on a funkalicious edit previously, but this time around he’s gone future house with DiscoTech. A-Trak wants to give us a full spectrum of Cry, and I have no reason to complain.I want to listen to A-Trak and DiscoTech’s high flying, future funky remix in a room full of trampolines, if that makes any sense. Download the track for free, here.

Out of palm tree laden Miami comes a production duo named DiscoTech who drop some compelling feel good house beats that are pure perfection for the start of a sure to be fantastic weekend (I get to see Clean Bandit tomorrow night, pwah, but I digress). Or do I digress? DiscoTech’s latest remix is a whomping progressive and electro house take on Route 94’s UK house jam My Love, which features vocals by Jess Glynne, who famously guests on Clean Bandit’s Rather Be! Ah-ha! Everything’s connected. The remix is available for download on their facebook. You’ll want to add it to your energizing house mix, trust me. For some more flaming hot house from DiscoTech, also check out their recent remix of The Knocks’ Powers featuring Classic. It really does feels like they’ve taken me to a Miami discoteca!

Oh myyy

Capital Cities offered up a new remix of their insanely infectious, fantastic, fun track Safe and Sound by DiscoTech. On top of that, they created a video filled with North Korean kids to go with the disco flared remix (and to poke fun at the whole nuclear issue). Can this get more entertaining and lovable? Safe and Sound is still probably the MOST fun song of the past while. If you haven’t danced to it live, you haven’t danced at all.

Need an injection of energy

After a mostly grimy heavy rock day while dealing with a bunch of other things, I’m ready for a musical shot of caffeine. How’s about a remix of Capital Cities’ awesome song Safe and Sound to whet the whistle? I’m ready for the trumpets and dance beats! Seems they’re back in the studios working on some new songs these days too, with MOAR TRUMPET SOLOS!
