On July 6th, Grammy-nominated British trip hop and electronic legends Goldfrapp will be releasing a deluxe edition of Silver Eye, their latest album from last year. On it are several new bonus tracks, including a rendition of album closer Ocean featuring none other than Depeche Mode frontman Dave Gahan. Depeche Mode and Goldfrapp is a more than epic union, and this glorious new version of Ocean more than reflects that. You can find the track on Apple Music, here. Pre-order Silver Eye: Deluxe Edition, here.

If you haven’t yet checked out the new Depeche Mode that dropped yesterday afternoon, you need to check it out, now. Where’s The Revolution is easily one of the best songs the legendary English band has put out in years. The single is a rich reverberating, synth whirring eruption of politically nuanced suspense and splendor. The dark call to arms is the first taste from Depeche Mode’s new album Spirit, due out March 17th via Columbia Records. Pre-order Spirit, here, and get Where’s The Revolution instantly.

I’ve been waiting for Greek electropop duo Marsheaux to release some new tracks, after hearing some tastes of their entrancing electronic music in the past. There’s a deliciously 80’s flavor to their dark electropop, taking me back to the dreamy dark wave qualities of legendary acts like Depeche Mode and The Cure.  Fittingly, the duo have gone ahead and covered Depeche Mode’s 1982 album A Broken Frame in full. They give album track The Sun And The Rainfall, as well as all the other tracks on the album, a far more wispy and elegant touch.

Delta Machine cut Should Be Higher has a music video to accompany the great song today. The visuals consist of arresting live footage from a Depeche Mode concert. It’s one of the excellent tracks off their latest much anticipated album. It’s Depeche Mode. I mean, do I really have to say anything else?

It’s time for a mashup moment! NYC artist Dan Chamberlain creates some sick track match ups, but this one is of epic, cosmic proportions. It’s not too surprising that someone would think to mash Depeche Mode’s Personal Jesus together with Yeezy, er, Kanye West’s Black Skinhead. There are other attempts floating around the internetz, after all. But this one is a nasty, heavy weight success! Ready for Personal Yeezus? Visit Chamberlain’s tumblr for other mixtapes and tracks.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been thoroughly enjoying new Depeche Mode song Heaven. It’s insanely intoxicatingly good. So it’s with great delight that today brought a new track off coming album Delta Machine (out March 26). Soothe My Soul debuted on BBC Radio and sounds oh so signature Depeche. I gotta wonder how their SXSW show went! Looking forward to their tour this year after the album drops. I’ve yet to catch these influential guys live.
