Dutch producer Dennis Kruissen teams up with Luxembourg’s Chris Meid on a classy house remix of The Weeknd’s beloved Devil May Cry. Stabbing cascades of exhilarating piano and a steel edge to the song bring a near future house quality to the track, but its all softened by some sultry guitar and a summery atmosphere. You must admit, The Weeknd can be a little too gut wrenching at times. When you’re in the mood for some more uptempo and warming vibes, this is a terrific remix to turn to instead.

It’s actually been quite some time since I’ve sat myself down and had a Florence and the Machine listening session, despite my love of their music, particularly anything off of brilliant debut album Lungs. Norwegian producer Dennis Kruissen gives us more than ample reason to revisit You’ve Got The Love with his deep future house remix, replete with plenty of those stabbing chords and heaving beats that never fail to reel me in. Florence Welch’s vocals are a wonderful sound to hear again, too, and then there’s that trumpet, oh my.
