I’ve long noticed ages ago that Little Boots, or English singer songwriter and producer Victoria Christina Hesketh, is widely respected on all fronts by her peers. And if you’re at all familiar with her music, or have danced to her live, you probably know why. The incredibly talented artist returns this month with an appropriately named Shadows. It may be a long afternoon on the office, but I’m suddenly craving for a turn on a dark and sweaty dance floor as I bob to the glam disco meets dusky house banger. It’s a guttural pumping yet classy and chic dose of sheer hypnotic euphoria off Little Boots’ next EP. Those of you in San Francisco can dance to the track live come Friday, March 16th, when Little Boots joins Dim Mak vs Popscene at the Rickshaw Stop. Unfortunately, we’ll be in Austin for SXSW at that time. We can only hope that they’ll come back to SF for a second round sometime. You can also stream Shadows via Spotify, here.

We’ve been thirsting all year for fresh music from Australia’s Du Tonc, the brilliant duo consisting Matt Van Schie and Mighty Mouse, and though they haven’t dropped their next single together just yet, they have doused us with pristine pure euphoria in the form of their new remix of Toronto producer Munshine’s recent single Full Throttle, featuring the Darcys. Du Tonc turns the 80′s inspired neon disco found on the luxuriant original into a glamorous deep disco affair with their deep thrumming, relentlessly pulsating refix. Prepare to dance all day long to this coruscant whirlwind of ecstasy, a “full throttle” of an exhilarating banger in every sense.

Last month, Los Angeles based chanteuse Lizzy Land put out an excellent remix package for her dusky twinkling, spacious thrumming electropop aria, Sweet Melodies. Among its four fine edits is this remix by Iowan producer Schier. His Sweet Melodies is a sublime fantasy world of sparkly chimes, seductive vocals, deep warblings synths, and spacious skipping beats. It’s a flawless suffusion of future disco, deep house, and enchanting pop on Schier’s sleek luxuriant remix. Lizzy Land’s Sweet Melodies remix pack also features remixes by Armando, SUNNY & BARE, and ROOMS. Stream in full on Soundcloud, here. Purchase Schier’s remix as a single from iTunes, here.

Out on behemoth dance label Armada Music is this brisk charmer of a pounding jam, Give It To You, which sees producer Niko The Kid forming a colossal Southern California trifecta with electronic project Bee’s Knees and singer songwriter CADE. We swoon to Give It To You’s sexy booming house, deep glamorous disco, and gooey seductive R&B. Give It To You leaves me excited for hot summer nights and ecstatic dance parties on the beach. The single is available from iTunes, here. You can also find an alternate Soundcloud stream below.

As they say, there’s always room for more cake (or was that dessert?), and there’s no doubt you’ll want to stuff yourself full with this sensational tune from Northwest London’s Eat More Cake. The DJ, production, and songwriting collective heats us up with Heat Of The Night, a deep rumbling, sultry smoldering house groover with a jolting nip of disco spice and a sleek bundle of silky melting falsetto. The steamy hypnosis brought on by this sexy number is out of this world. Heat Of The Night is out now on iTunes via Perfect Havoc.

France is known as one of the most romantic destinations in the world, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that French musicians seem to have a strong grip on sonic seduction when it comes to music, too. With a feisty step and whimsical flutters comes sexy groover Maya Funk, the latest single from Parisian DJ and producer Bolivard. This frilly deep disco jam is an agile suitor fitted in glitzy dapper threads. Foxy flute and jouncing beats spin us round and round under a glittering mirror ball, leaving us drunk on both future and retro vibes seamlessly melded into one vivacious thrilling carousel ride. Purchase or stream Maya Funk from various other outlets, here.

Long time venerated Australian producer Cassian dropped a wicked jam before the end of 2016 as a thank you to fans, and I can’t help but shuffle my feet endlessly all across the room to the song. Don’t Go is a deep disco homage to Puzique hit Don’t Go, a song Cassian regards as one of his favorites of all time. Those of you who’ve had the pleasure of dancing the night away to Cassian may recognize this ode from his sets. We now get to dance to our heart’s content at home, too. The world around me fades away as Cassian’s sprightly chords and juicy ravishing sampling of Puzique casts a star spangled spell over me.

Changes are in the air indeed as Swedish producer Oliver Nelson departs from some of his usual opulent slicing, vibrant dicing nu-disco with a chill sparkler named Changes, featuring spellbinding vocals by British songbird River. Changes is still as sprightly as ever, but its smoldering moodiness and dense tropical dreaminess marks a very new direction for the prolific producer. Oliver Nelson calls this new sound of his “deep disco” and it’s a ravishing concoction. Changes will be out June 24th, and it can be pre-ordered now from iTunes.

There’s no more fitting name for this producer than LUXXURY (fka Baron Von Luxxury).  He displays much disco dance prowess on resplendent new song and video, Hold On. The grooving tune is as classy as it gets, LUXXURY’s first release on Deep & Disco Recordings. If Daft Punk and Holy Ghost! went soothing ethereal with their 70′s and 80′s inspired dance music, it would probably gel with what LUXXURY does here on Hold On. Purchase LUXXURY’s Hold On/Take It Slow EP from iTunes.

London’s Kayper first caught me in a web of luscious beats and snappy synths several months ago with her jaw dropping interpretation of Erykah Badu’s Next Lifetime. The producer has me dancing in my seat to the summery luminosity and slick vibrancy of hot single What You Say, which features prior collaborator Jonny Winston. The emerging talent goes rambunctiously deep and disco on the track, which received a fresh music video treatment today. What You Say is available now on iTunes via Eton Messy.
