I’m going to come clean right now. I confess, I have a ridiculous obsession with Conrad Sewell’s sonorous voice and his new single Come Clean. The Australian singer songwriter has been spending much of the past couple of years touring, but he’s now unfurling new songs off his new project Ghosts & Heartaches. Come Clean is a piano pop song on which his voice alternates between gravelly soulful and lofty sleek. The weathered, heartfelt ballad is accompanied by a second new song named Healing Hands, which you can stream below. It’s a gospel endowed heartbreak pop anthem with beautifully stirring organ chords that builds its way towards erupting catharsis. Both songs are out now via 300 Entertainment. Young Steve James has solidified himself in the past year as one of my top emerging producers to watch with his remixes, his production work for Justin Bieber, and his stunning debut original, Renaissance, featuring Clairity. It always amazes me how strong of a foothold these artists have on music at their youthful  age. Today, the Los Angeles based producer turns 18, and to celebrate, he’s released a remix of Australian talent Conrad Sewell’s Remind Me. Steve James’ indie dance edit of Remind Me lurches and bounces with radiant energy, its gorgeously uplifting soundscape a fine companion to Conrad Sewell’s spectacularly impassioned voice. The grand and glorious remix will be available on all major outlets come Friday, April 15th. Happy Birthday, Steve James, and thank you for your lavish present to us.

Images of sweet love and island paradises are flashing through my mind as I dance with carefree abandon to this song from new Berlin duo Kilian & Jo. They’ve brightened my day a hundred fold with infectious debut single Little Love, a Years and Years meets Cheat Codes like deep house and trop pop confection that features buttery smooth vocals by Los Angeles singer songwriter Conrad Sewell (who you might recognize from Kygo’s Firestone). Little Love is a sublime, uplifting burst of joy and sunshine. Little Love is available now on iTunes.

It’s been less than three weeks since San Francisco’s talented Slaptop surprised me with a melting synthpop jam named Away, which I fell deeply in love with instantly, but now he’s back already with a remix that scratches that itch for the Slaptop we know from his more uptempo jams. Conrad Sewell’s Hold Me Up gets a pumping, bumping dance remix that brings in some old school vibes along with its resoundingly deep bassline and summery future house edge. Slaptop’s remix is sizzling hot, handle with care.
