I suppose you could say I’m “glued” to Elle Watson and her pristine pop. The English singer songwriter re-unites with esteemed producer Clams Casino on her latest single. We find ourselves utterly addicted to Glued’s dark mournful beats and Elle Watson’s ever enthralling, flawlessly stirring voice. Stormy yet graceful Glued continues to demonstrate the Londoner’s grasp on sophisticated yet haunting pop, and it comes with a magnificent music video directed by Haris Nukem whose entangled bodies remind me of a classic painting… statuesque and stony yet sensual and body-centric. Glued is available, here.

English singer songwriter Elle Watson is syrupy bewitching and smoldering captivating on her new single, Walls. The song’s moody ebbing and dim tiding production is the work of long time IHM production favorite, Clams Casino. The two prove themselves a perfect match. Elle Watson’s husky aching voice drift morosely through Clams Casinos’ dark droopy soundscape. These walls drip with emotion and shift under the twisting weight of heartache. Walls comes from a new Elle Watson EP named Phantom, due out on December 2nd. Elle Watson will be performing at Servant Jazz Quarters in London on December 5th. Those of you lucky enough to be around for it can find ticket information, here.

Come tomorrow night, New Jersey’s Clams Casino will be lighting it up with his syrupy intoxicating music at Mezzanine in San Francisco. I’m sure excited fans can’t hold still as they await the event. Dutch producer San Holo quells some of those jitters as he remixes Clams Casino’s I’m God, giving it a divine makeover overflowing with heavenly synths. We’re taken for a galactic joyride by the vast and profound edit, a near spiritual future bass, trap, and melodic bass experience I find grandly soothing and dreamy surreal. For a moment, we all feel like gods. Download San Holo’s remix, here.

If you’re one who likes to be haunted by the dark and eerie, Clams Casino is going to have your skin crawling and spine tingling with a seriously wicked remix of WET’s Weak. He turns the pillowy song into a droopy, syrupy work of dark art. It’s a sparse but droning refix that I’d love to lose myself in on Halloween night. Ghostly apparitions flicker across the atmospheric remix by the New Jersey producer.

I gasped with delight when I saw this little treat floating around. It’s been some time now since I’ve shared some dang good Clams Casino on IHM, and today, I break that silence with the New Jersey producer’s deliciously haunting and nebulous remix of Sia’s hit song Elastic Heart. As if the original weren’t gut wrenching enough already, Clams Casino gives the track a beautifully somber and opaque makeover.

If you haven’t heard of Los Angeles based singer songwriter Pia Mia, you will. Last month, she dropped her debut EP The Gift, and its abundant in catchy, radio friendly pop tunes. And now? Now, she’s featured on the impressive soundtrack for the highly buzzing new Hollywood film Divergent, along with a long list of well established talent. Her Divergent contribution is named Fight For You, and it’s a Banks meets Ellie Goulding meets Foxes song that features Chance The Rapper. Oh yea, it’s also produced by the amazing Clams Casino.

If you’ve been paying attention to I Heart Moosiq at all this past year, then you know that I’ve been a staunch supporter of Tennessee singer songwriter Mikky Ekko. His Clams Casino collaboration Pull Me Down blew me away, and I immediately knew he was an artist to watch. Some time afterwards, he was featured on Rihanna’s hit song Stay. What many people don’t realize is that Stay was actually Mikky’s tune, but Rihanna heard the demo and decided to create her own version of it for her own album. Check out the original demo for the tune above, which Mikky Ekko just released for our ears today. It’s just as beautiful, if not more so than Rihanna’s polished version. Ekko’s vocals never fail at drawing me in completely, they’re impeccable and oh so authentically raw. A few weeks ago, I happened on a buzzfeed article that counted out different observations of the music scene from 2013. One such point was the fact that Mikky Ekko had not grown to huge popularity as they’d predicted. My response is that it takes time, and 2014 will be Mikky’s year to shine. After all, it’s this year that he’ll be releasing a debut album. He could’ve tried to go the fast track way after the success of Rihanna’s stay, but it’s obvious he’s taking his creativity and passion seriously.

That little video game named Grand Theft Auto V has one intense, amazing soundtrack. In fact, it has a soundtrack THREE volumes long, filled with the likes of Wavves, Twin Shadow, FlyLo, DJ Shadow, Toro Y Moi, A$AP Rocky, Yeasayer, Dan Croll, Tyler the Creator, and so many more. Oh, let’s not forget about Clams Casino! His contribution to the soundtrack is a sick production titled Crystals. It’s sinister, hazy, heavy, and all around SICK. It’s exactly what I hoped for from the talented producer. Stream it above.
