This one came as a massive surprise when it cropped up in the scene yesterday, but I wholeheartedly dove into it straightaway, being the big fan of both rising Leeds project Krrum and longtime Swedish electro duo CAZZETTE that I am. The soulful electropop jam that is Krrum’s Evil Twin is still one of my favorites from the artist. I never expected to see CAZZETTE giving it a remix treatment, but here we are, blissfully swaying to the jagged euphoria that is this entrancing indie dance re-work. The remix arrives as a part of Krrum’s just released Evil Twin 2017 EP, which dropped at the same time as the official Evil Twin video. If you missed the music video, you can catch it, here.

As much as I enjoy summery dance music, I can’t help but find Niko The Kid’s dark cinematic house as magnetic, if not even more so, than those bright rosy tunes. The Los Angeles based producer’s latest remix is a wicked edit of Swedish duo CAZZETTE’s Oceans. This inky ‘ocean’ rumbles, fidgets, and booms with restless and unmerciful power. Niko The Kid’s enthralling brand of garage imbued deep house combines the sultriness of ZHU with the duskiness of Disclosure. The rapturous end result is more than gratifying. Download Niko The Kid’s remix, here. You can also stream the track off Soundcloud below.

Swedish electronic duo CAZZETTE continue to prove themselves incredibly versatile with their latest track. Having made a swift ascent in the dance music scene earlier this decade with their high energy house, CAZZETTE switched gears with songs like Sleepless, which I still adore to no end, and Together. They throw us for a loop on new single Static, whose stirring flux is exactly the opposite of static. CAZZETTE teams up with breathy vocal enchantress Georgia Ku on their new song, forging a sound tender yet atmospheric. Their melodic dance track undulates smoothly and spirals fluidly. It’s possibly their most beautiful song to date, and you can purchase it from various outlets, here, via PRMD.

It’s rather fortunate that we live in a world where everyone is so easily connected by digital interfaces and technology. While bands, musicians, and artists used to work in relative isolation, we now get to watch our favorite ones work together as a team, or give their own interpretations on each others’ art. Despite this fact, I’m still often pleasantly surprised by who exactly comes together on one particular song. I never would have guessed that Swedish electronic project Cazzette would take on an AYER song for a remix. They give the Brooklyn’s artist’s sleek cooing, lustrous lifting electro pop song My Hands a steely edged, vivacious springing future house remix sure to incite some urgent dancing. Cazzette highlights the original’s sizzling horns alongside their trouncing beats, making this a bonafide Friday banger sure to amp us up for the rest of the weekend. Download the electrifying remix, here.

Keeping the booming bass and luscious beats flowing with a track off Cazzette’s recently out EP, Desserts. It’s sweet euphoria indeed on State Of Bliss. The Swedish electronic act venture into lushly slick future house territory on the hooking anthem which first premiered on This Song Is Sick. State Of Bliss only has me falling ever deeper for Cazzette, who’ve increasingly impressed me and reeled me in evermore since Sleepless last year. Snag the Desserts EP on iTunes.

Swedish electronic act Cazzette gave me one of my favorite electronic jams last year in the form of Sleepless, so my heart readily skipped a beat when I first heard they had a new tune out, a first taste and single from a forthcoming EP. Sure enough, Cazzette is on track to making my top electronic jams list of summer again with Together (Till The Morning), which features vocals by fellow Swedes Newtimers. As already demonstrated by Sleepless last year, Cazzette continues their launch in a fresh new direction compared to their earlier  tunes. Together is a future house flavored jagged banger with an irresistibly hooking melody and smooth, slick vocals. Watch Cazzette’s video for Together (Till The Morning) below. Their Desserts EP will be out August 14 on ICONS music.

This one came as a surprise, and I went into it not knowing what to expect, but Swedish electronic act Cazzette has certainly dropped my jaw. They’ve created a bootleg of James Blake classic hit Limit To Your Love that begins not too far removed from the original, but slowly, meticulously launches itself into a bass heavy and grandiose future trap jam. I love James Blake. I love Limit To Your Love. And I love Flume meets HudMo styled trap. So…. you can guess what I think about this killer remix.

That last one I shared was a rather gloomy one, so let’s pick it up a hundred fold with a high energy remix of Swedish act Cazzette’s Sleepless, one of my favorite EDM tunes of 2014. Vancouver’s Moiez again teams up with New Yorkers Mysto & Pizzi (having dropped a killer remix of Zhu’s Faded together previously). If you’re ready to raise your fists in the air and practically glow with bliss, turn up the volume. This progressive house banger, along with the originals vocoder utilizing harmonies, will brighten your day, infuse you with liveliness, and melt your heart. The Sleepless remix is the third part of the producers’ remix trilogy that began with Goldroom’s Till Sunrise, then proceeded to Zhu’s Faded, and now finishes with Sleepless. It’s a love story for the EDM ages. Listen to all three over on Soundcloud, here.
