Swedish trio Ember Island has built quite a reputation on the backs of their beautifully atmospheric covers. Those same covers have also translated into exceptional remixes. Manchester electronic duo VALES is the latest to take on remixing one of those covers. They’ve transformed Ember Island’s rendition of The Weeknd’s Can’t Feel My Face into a shiver inducing future bass opus. VALES’ monumental remix is dramatic and majestic, a robustly oscillating masterpiece brimming with profound introspection and cathartic emotion. You can download their remix for free, here.

I’ve got my eyes, er, ears, on a new producer out of Sydney named Joe Mason. Though he only has two tracks listed on his Soundcloud so far, the 17 year old whiz kid is already blowing minds and winning hearts over with his sensational remixes. The second of those tunes is a newly revealed official remix of The Chainsmokers’ Inside Out, ft. Charlee, a song much remixes and well loved already. Joe Mason gives it an atmospheric future bass and melodic bass remix fully majestic and magnificent. It takes me to great expanses of regal beauty, shoots me high into the sky with its cinematic verve, and near turns me inside out as my heart swells with rampant emotion. Download Joe Mason’s remix free, here. For more of this talented newcomer, stream his very first track on Soundcloud, a brilliant remix of Ember Island’s version of Can’t Feel My Face below.

There are times when I wonder whether I love Ember Island’s version of The Weeknd’s Can’t Feel My Face even more than the original, largely due to how gorgeous it is, and partly due to Ember Island’s ripe remix potential. New production project Steve Void swoops out of the Netherlands to offer up the his own interpretation of the cover, dishing out atmospheric, contemplative deep house both entrancingly ethereal and meditatively profound. It’s been awhile now since we’ve been flooded with variations of The Weeknd’s Can’t Feel My Face, including both remixes and covers. The world has instead, turned their attention to Drake’s Hotline Bling and Adele’s Hello. IYES, however, surprised me this morning with a stunning rendition of Can’t Feel My Face, creating a downtempo brooder that lurks in soft shadows peppered with piano twinkles and muted electronic beats. Josh and Melis trade sensual, smoky vocals on their version of Can’t Feel My Face, a clouded beauty awash in melancholy. Head over to Soundcloud to download IYES’ cover for free.

I swear I was going to take a long break from remixes of The Weeknd’s Can’t Feel My Face, I really do. Abel’s most pop leaning tune has become one of the most remixed tracks of the year. Dutch production duo The Him easily broke my resolve with their brilliantly radiant edit of the song. I don’t have time to feel my face, or care about it, when I’m prancing in joy to this deep house re-work. Hints of tropical house and pinches of progressive seep into the uplifting and bright jam. The Weeknd has never seemed more rosy and sanguine, a spirited sound that Abel Tesfaye wears well. This one’s for jamming out, dancing to, and singing along to with your crew when you’re about to head out for a night on the town. Download for free, here, round up your friends, and DO IT.

Aw, yea, another day, another killer remix of The Weeknd’s massive hit Can’t Feel My Face. While Abel’s most grooving and infectious song has been blowing up, the amazing edits of the tune have been streaming in. The latest must share remix comes by way of Los Angeles based producer JayKode, who offers up a genre defying, masterful remix that fuses thrilling house, exhilarating future bass, and trap, with a dab of French electro, too. JayKode’s remix is a dramatic, intense tour de force edit, a full on theatrical experience. I wouldn’t be surprised if you really can’t feel your face after. Grab it for free, here.

Can’t Feel My Face is undoubtedly one of The Weeknd’s most popping tunes. It’s also the subject of a long stream of fresh remixes, perhaps due to that fact. Very possibly a top favorite remix of the track to come my way is this track, a nu-disco banger by Dutch production duo Keljet. While there have been plenty of moments when The Weeknd reminded me of Michael Jackson and Prince, it’s never been more glaringly true than here, paired with Keljet’s lively, funky production. It’s not the weekend yet (pun not intended?), but I’m calling this a weekend jam. Actually, let’s give it top tier treatmetn and call it a Friday night jam.

Everyone is deeply obsessing over that sensational new The Weeknd song Can’t Feel My Face, his most pop leaning number yet. Toronto duo Rainer + Grimm take that pop and amplify it immensely on this bouncy and deep edit. It’s not that often we get to hear a bright and jovial The Weeknd, much less to this level of radiance, but Rainer + Grimm gives The Weeknd a euphoria inducing, dance spurning house remix.
