Bob Moses’ music is in itself brilliant on its own. The Canadian electronic duo gave us one of the best albums of 2015 in critically acclaimed Days Gone By, and songs from the album continue to inspire some sensational remixes. RAC won a Grammy for his incredible edit of Tearing Me Up. Now Canadian sibling duo Love Thy Brother returns with their superb take on Days Gone By cut Like It Or Not. Deep pumping disco house meets lavish entrancing techno on their magnificent remix, a meditative indulgence whose sweet nectar evokes mellower Justice and Rüfüs du Sol’s more introspective pieces. Love Thy Brother says that the track is the first of a series of remixes they made for their new live show launching soon. Let’s hope they take that show on the road and hit up San Francisco.

The absolute brilliance of Canadian electronic acts Bob Moses and A-Trak meet on a ravishing remix of quintissential Days Gone By hit Tearing Me Up. The funk is strong on this electro swinging edit, a sensational re-make that evokes C2C with a touch of Autograf future airiness. A-Trak’s Treaing Me Up leaves me aching to tear up the dance floor. This high energy thriller of a remix can also be streamed over at Spotify.

I had to scoop my jaw off the floor after seeing this one surface earlier today. One of the most prolific producers and remixers of our time, RAC, has reworked one of the best electronic tracks of 2015 (off one of the best electronic albums of that year), Bob Moses’ Tearing Me Up. RAC has such mind blowing aptitude in all his remix projects, in this case, pun intended, tearing it up on a shuffling edit of the slinking tune. He stays true to the original’s smoldering richness, suffusing it thickly with a heavy bounce and purring bass, complimented by frisky synths. This is one sexy cat of a remix. Purchase the track from iTunes.

Tearing Me Up is a coolly strutting, spectacular track off Canadian duo Bob Moses’ acclaimed debut album Days Gone By. It’s so good that I re-shared it last week when a new video arose. Tearing Me Up gets a deep house twist today, from San Francisco’s Slaptop. His rendition of Tearing Me Up will rip away at you with guttural bass and hypnotic beats. It’s an amped up and dark remix that showcases Slaptop’s ever apparent skill and depth when it comes to both originals and edits. This one has me hungering for a sweaty, dusty dance club floor to let loose on with animal fury.

Canadian duo Bob Moses dropped a video for swanky good tune Tearing Me Up, a must revisit off a spectacular debut album named Days Gone By out on Domino. It’s near impossible not to sway and snap along to the cool strut of the sumptuous alt and electro soul jam reminiscent of Chet Faker and Ben Khan. Days Gone By is so good that I brought that album along with me on my trip to Europe.

Bob Moses, who, despite the seemingly singular moniker, is a Canadian duo made up of members Jimmy Vallance and Tom Howie, are here to hypnotize us again with more of their softly throbbing electronic soul and gently grooving R&B. Tearing Me Up is a simmering track from the duo’s debut album Days Gone By, out September 18th on Domino. It’s a swanky, swaggering tune with a snappy strut and a mellow sway. Pre-order Days Gone By on iTunes.

Canadian production duo Bob Moses (now based in New York) released the audio for their shadowy single Grace, which is a deeply hypnotic song that opens up simply with a repetitive bass groove, then slowly flowers with some lush, vocal and guitar driven electronic soul. Grace will release July 29 as a double A side with I Ain’t Gonna Be The First To Cry on Domino. Stream I Ain’t Gonna Be The First To Cry below, which delves even deeper into their unique and mesmerizing R&B inflected deep house sound, perfect for late night introspection.
