We’ve been treated to some fine collaborations involving RKCB these past months, including the R&B soul project’s song with Ariana and the Rose,  Love You Lately, as well as a guest apperance on Louis Futon’s Surreal. But nothing beats a fresh new RKCB single. The LA based duo returns with creamy aplomb on satin warbling, hypnotic textured Bloom, a consuming squall of passion and desire. Ever amazing Sweater Beats turns in dazzling co-production duties on the seductive gem. RKCB’s latest swooning single is out now on iTunes.

Atlanta duo CLAVVS are on point when they describe their music as hypnotic alt pop and spectral trip hop on their Soundcloud bio. New single Bloom is deeply entrancing and gossamer ethereal. It’s a striking third single to be lifted from thier sophomore album, World Underwater, one that evokes fond memories of bands like Haelos and London Grammar. CLAVVS explains that the new single is about: “being a woman and a human being. The whole record is an exercise in repurposing typically feminine evils like sirens and serpents into powerful, beautiful symbols”. I have a feeling Trump and CLAVVS wouldn’t mix, and I’m glad. CLAVVS is comprised of four time Grammy winning producer Graham Marsh and writer/vocalist Amber Renee, who has an immaculately magnificent, deeply regal voice. Their lush engaging single is a dazzling taste from the pair’s coming album, which I can’t help but look forward to hearing.

When I think of the East Coast, my mind wanders to beautiful places like New York City, or Boston, but I have a feeling Billy Fox is crooning an ode to a far different East Coast on his beautiful soul and indie electronic song. The Sydney, Australia based musician and producer combines the sentimental falsettos of James Vincent McMorrow with the atmospherically stirring production of acts like fellow countrymen The Kite String Tangle and SAFIA or Ireland’s EDEN on East Coast, his first single of 2016 and the first track to cross paths with me and triumphantly woo my heart. A quick plunge into Billy Fox’s Soundcloud left me reeling from his emotionally charged music. Previous release Bloom is also a gorgeous treat, with a bit of a moody Glass Animals slink. Stream below. I’m left feeling foolish for not having encountered Billy Fox till today.

The Paper Kites’ folksy gem, Bloom, is undeniably a melting beauty. The Australian band’s endearing song goes chill melodic house on a sigh inducing remix by Germany’s Alex Brandt, giving the tune a peppy beat and plenty of summery radiance. Alex Brandt’s remix makes me want to throw on a straw hat, jump into a sarong, and go for a walk on the beach while holding hands with a special someone that I haven’t even met yet. Can I be close to you, stranger? Download this deep tropical Bloom for free, here.

It’s time for some chill melodic tropical vibes as we dive into a gorgeous remix of Australian band The Paper Kites’ Bloom by Atlanta production acts Drag & Drop PR and Osxilate. It’s a huge transition from the original, the perfect track to relax to after a hectic start to the week. The remix’s lulling strings and wistful hooks will have you transported to a world of saccharine emotion and swaying palm trees in no time. Free download of the feel good tune, here.

Bloom is an unsigned indie rock band from Exeter, and they’ve just released their very first song, a pensive, dreamy number named Oceans. After listening to the beautiful, glistening gem, I’m not surprised that the newcomers have won Exeter University’s Battle Of The Bands and been played on BBC Introducing and XFM Radio. One of the first major influences I zoomed in on within Oceans is Bloc Party, since Bloc Party is still one of my all time favorite bands, thanks to their debut album Silent Alarms. Of course, Oceans carries a far more chill and ambient of a melodic dance punk vibe than Bloc Party’s sound, but think of Compliments, and you’ll get my drift. Bloom also counts Tame Impala and Radiohead as major influencers on their music. Explosive layers of cinematic guitars also bring to mind a post-rock sort of expansive depth. I’ll be waiting to hear more from Bloom.

I’m always surprised when I find out that a band with an amazing, immaculate sound is unsigned. That’s exactly what happened with Swedish act I Am Karate. The electropop duo’s tender and sparkling song Bloom is a well named piece, as it does bloom slowly, like a flower opening gently in the subtle, muted glow of moonlight. It gradually builds in tempo, increasing in intoxicating rhythm, until it climaxes with such heart swelling, poignant vocals. Bloom is but one of three tunes this head turning, ear perking new act has adrift, but with it, the band has me fully mesmerized.

Irish singer songwriter Talos has a new exquisite song for us. Bloom is a delicate, atmospheric piece, working it’s way meticulously and cinematically towards a mind shattering and heart wrenching electronic soundscape, full of ghostly vocals and commanding, somber beats. Bloom nearly stops time with its hushed intensity and ability to completely capture attention. Just a reminder, but don’t forget to breath, when listening to Bloom. The spacious R&B flavored electropop track will be released digitally and on 12", along with brilliant debut song Tethered Bones, on December 1, via Feel Good Lost. Revisit Tethered Bones below.
