Plenty of talented chefs are in the kitchen cooking up juicy plump beats, fire vocals, and sleek savory synths on this wicked tune named Catalina Dice. Joining brassy Brooklyn brothers French Horn Rebellion and Southern California’s Bee’s Knees is Northern California funk extraordinaire, Boulevards. Catalina Dice’s glamorous disco is a full on party rolled up in less than four minutes, but who says you can’t dive right back into its bouncy splendor again and again and again? It’s not like you’re rolling the “dice” or anything with these dashing boys involved. Catalina Dice is a bonafide banger, a smoking hot, steamy scorching disco house swooner. As French Rebellion and Bee’s Knees say in the description for the track, “Summer’s ending, but it doesn’t mean we’re stopping the party.” Grab the jam from iTunes, here.

Out on behemoth dance label Armada Music is this brisk charmer of a pounding jam, Give It To You, which sees producer Niko The Kid forming a colossal Southern California trifecta with electronic project Bee’s Knees and singer songwriter CADE. We swoon to Give It To You’s sexy booming house, deep glamorous disco, and gooey seductive R&B. Give It To You leaves me excited for hot summer nights and ecstatic dance parties on the beach. The single is available from iTunes, here. You can also find an alternate Soundcloud stream below.

The Bee’s Knees remix French Horn Rebllion’s ‘Second Opinion’. If you follow electronic music then you’re probably familiar with The Bee’s Knees since the duo has done remixes for Two Door Cinema Club, Louis The Child, and SBRN all this year. Now we have this chill remix of ‘Second Opinion’.

Two Door Cinema Club’s slick grooving single Bad Decisions goes extra disco funky and glitter glam on a luxuriant remix by Los Angeles’ Bee’s Knees. It’s no wonder these bees’ work has been buzzing. These purveyors of good vibes and luscious grooves attract us like bees to honey with their glitzy twirler of a remix, a brilliant electro disco take on the 2DCC track that evokes the likes of Daft Punk, Giorgio Moroder, and Justice.

It’s a trifecta of talent on Better With You, a cool and funky electronic track that sees Finnish producer Lenno joining forces with Los Angeles’ Bee’s Knees. The new original also features slickly alluring vocals by Southern California’s Monogem, whose electro R&B and pop flair are the perfect pairing to the song’s snappy electro beats, rich disco funk, and feel good glide.  Better With You comes from Lenno’s Good Thing EP, which just dropped last Friday on Universal. Stream the song off Spotify above, or Soundcloud below. The Good Thing EP is available from iTunes.

Infinite High is easily one of my favorite synthpop songs of 2015, and it came from one of my favorite synthpop bands, New York City’s Panama Wedding. For a bi-coastal re-imagining of the song, we turn to Los Angeles’ Bee’s Knees. The duo transform Infinite High into a richly pulsing indie dance anthem. It’s a disco meets electro remix that would slide right in between some Bag Raiders and some The Knocks. Limited free downloads, here, so get on it!

Bee’s Knees mean baby-making business with their ‘Love Will Never Do’ cover of Janet Jackson. It’s a tasty cover which features the beautifully caramel vocals of Jill Lamoureux from Scavenger Hunt.

Los Angeles duo Bee’s Knees transforms fellow Los Angeles band Scavenger Hunt’s Wildfire into a banging, cascading monster of a future bass meets electro jam. It ripples brilliantly with a luxuriant glow and sizzles with a sultry, voluptuous air. The effervescent and smooth remix is a free download, here. Make sure to add it to your summery playlist for your Independence Day adventures this weekend.

Bee’s Knees are here to take you on a sublime dance adventure with their sensual, steamy single Rumored To Be Real, which features some epic crooning by Marty Rod. Equal parts Chromeo funk and summery Duke Dumont vibes, Rumored To Be Real is a smooth disco dance jam that will keep you moving and heated, any time of the year. The track is the first single off Bee’s Knees debut EP, Variety Pack.

Alright, I need to run out of here, because I’m going to see Arcade Fire tonight (whoop whoop, oh did I mention I met Win Butler last night), but I’m going to leave you with one more treat. Last week, I shared an infectious, upbeat, urban flavored UK house tune named I Know by newcomer Shift K3Y. Now, check out this intoxicating, pitchy remix by Los Angeles duo Bee’s Knees. It’s a refix that’s right up my alley, since I love futuristic bass and textured, haunting atmosphere with an abundance of chill trap vibe.
