It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know this next one is an epic track, even if you haven’t listened to it yet. After all, it brings together the talented expertise of Seattle dubstep/electro prodigy Seven Lions, Austin luminaries Tritonal, and NYC dubstep/electro connoisseurs Kill The Noise, AND it features breathtaking vocals by LA chanteuse HALIENE, too! We find ourselves racing our way towards a beautiful “horizon” on the plumed wings of this majestic and grand opus. Mellifluous yet heavy, smooth rolling yet resolute, this four way collaboration fuses electro house, dubstep, pop, future bass, and even drum & bass to give us a cornucopia of scintillating feels. Horizon can also be streamed and purchased, here.

I was super excited about this song even before I heard it. It’s so good to see a talented budding artist like Madge show up on such a behemoth collaboration. The LA based Salt Lake City newcomer blew our minds when she made her debut earlier this year on Fight Or Flight Club and we’re infinitely glad she’s been receiving a whole lot of well deserved attention since. And now, here she is, lending some feisty, spunky vocals to Kaskade, Brohug, and Mr. Tape’s aptly named Fun, a funky bass house groover. Throw your hands in the air and dance your heart out to the infectious punching banger. It’s steamy fierce, an inferno of a swag jam that reminds me of both NVDES and SOFI TUKKER, but with a bouncier step and a whole lot of zestful, gutsy spirit. Grab the track, here.

Strap yourself in for a cosmic ride, because we’re about to dive into new k?d, the young wunderkind who’s taken us clear across the universe with his epic tracks in the past. New single Zero One fires on all pistons, quite literally, too. It’s a pneumatic rocket ship of a hard hitting, bass pounding vehicle, whose G-force acceleration will leave your pulse racing and your hands sweaty from the sheer exhilaration and seismic intensity of the spine-tingling expedition. Stream/download k?d’s heart-stopping bass house track, here.

There are plenty of reasons to thank TWO OWLS tonight. Not only has the production two piece from Los Angeles introduced us to Datsik and Baishau’s project together, named Ephwurd, but they’ve given Ephwurd’s bass house track Function, featuring London duo Oneeva, a mighty jarring, brain melting remix, too. The original is already a dynamic whomping thriller. You can stream the original, here. TWO OWLS treats the track to a whirlwind edit that rises from cool misty introspection to metallic buzzing, bass thundering heights of dubstep ecstasy. It’s an exhilarating remix straight from a sci-fi tale from the future.

Though it’s been a long time since Fatboy Slim gave us new music, the legendary artist has revealed some fabulous new remixes of his songs on a remix EP entitled Fatboy Slim vs Australia. As the title might suggest, all the producers and projects involved are from Australia. We can’t get enough of The Kite String Tangle’s take on Fatboy Slim classic Praise You. He brings his own electronic prowess to the table on the mix, creating a slick and punchy electronic soundscape propelled by the original’s anthemic hook and big beats. For another taste off the six track EP, stream Lo’99′s bass churning, seedy “strutting” remix of Fatboy Slim’s Star 69 below, too, and prepare for some glorious warehouse vibes. Fatboy Slim vs Australia, which also features remixes by The Aston Shuffle, Sam La More, Set Mo, and Carmada, is available, here.

Australian producer Baytek made an indelible impression on us last year when we traipsed upon his steely bouncing bass house jam, Change, featuring Ives. On new song Anchor, he’s linked up with Australian vocal sensation Cyrus for an emotionally charged, tense gripping affair. Anchor sports dramatic buildups and cathartic drops. Despite its robust and heavy production, there’s a summery element to its soundscape, too, making this a gut punching summer anthem that stands out from the pack. Baytek drops an inextricable “anchor” in our hearts with his thundering tune, a gritty bass and whomping house behemoth. The single is available from major retailers, here.

A chance encounter brought me to the steps of this thrilling remix, and try as I might, I couldn’t find out too much about the producers behind the magic. Helio Kiyoshi is, apparently, a producer from Brazil and Vale is a mystery, but the pair have joined forces to turn out this heavy hitting, hard thumping remix of Empire Of The Sun’s We Are The People. It’s a dark bustling, robust whomping adrenaline pumper that involves deep house and Brazilian bass. You can download the remix for free, here.

Back to France we go for a shuddering heavy hitter from Basstrick, aka Romain Ahterton, who’s exploded onto the dubstep and basshouse scene with his visceral jouncing music. Recent single Tinker Hatfield is a face melting, brain rattling banger. It’s no wonder Basstrick has gained the support of DJ Snake, Tchami, and Habstrakt, having released his thrilling music since 2015 with his multiple EPs and remixes. Adrenaline pumping Tinker Hatfield is a gritty pounding free download, here.

Be careful not to trip over yourself in dizzied excitement like I did when I first caught wind of this astronomic collaboration. It’s a legendary Southern California affair as NGHTMRE and Ghastly come together for staggering thrills on walloping new Mad Decent track, End Of The Night. Carnal jolting drops, laser cut synths, and dirty whomping bass make End Of The Night a true decent into exhilarating madness. It’s a spine tingling, adrenaline pumping smorgasbord of trap and bass, dubstep and house. NGHTMRE and Ghastly’s jam may be named End Of The Night, but there’s no way you can call it a night after this high octane joy ride. Purchase the hard hitting banger from major outlets, here.

Earlier this week, Brisbane duo ODD MOB really “mobbed” things up with a wicked new EP named DIFFUSION. The four track release is a scintillating “diffusion” indeed, a brain melting, heart pounding, skin tingling array of genre melding bass house expertise. Opening track Lithium is an acid tinged, drum & bass laced, trance inflected effusion of tangy synths and rolling bass. The psychological state I find myself in is befitting of the track’s name. Lithium is almost numbing in its hypnosis, yet I feel every little jab and prick so palpably as I surrender myself to this sonic drug. You can stream ODD MOB’s stellar DIFFUSION EP in full on Soundcloud or download for free, here.
