I just caught a stunning performance by Australia’s Amy Shark at her San Francisco debut at Popscene earlier this month, plus I was privy to a super rad TV on the Radio set at the inaugural ID10T Fest over the weekend in Mountain View. It seems fitting that this remix happens to drop right after. Famed TV on the Radio member and producer Dave Sitek has given Amy Shark’s breakout hit, Adore, a spectacular remix. It’s an ethereal chiming, lavish soaring beauty. The original comes from Amy Shark’s acclaimed debut EP, Night Thinker, an absolute must from this rapidly blossoming singer songwriter.

From the Gold Coast of Australia comes an indie pop singer songwriter named Amy Shark, who reportedly doesn’t play many live shows but when she does, it’s a memorable affair. She’s taken a tight hold on me with Adore, her latest single. Though weightlessly soothing, Adore is a moody composition, its electro tinged alt pop waxing heavily emotive with desperate longing. Amy Shark explains that the song is “about crushing hard on someone”, and she hopes listening to it will give us all a surge of confidence to make a move.
