I’ve oft wondered how certain bands came up with the years they’ve included in their mind boggling names. Have you? Just to mention a few, there’s The Chain Gang Of 1974, Death From Above 1979, and, in this case, Night Terrors of 1927. Indeed, it takes some great brain power to remember the correct year for the correct bands, and there’s tons more than the aforementioned. Los Angeles based Night Terrors of 1927 first swept me off my feet with their incredibly catchy treat Dust and Bones last year. Now, just as they’re about to play Outside Lands Music Festival tomorrow, they’ve premiered a brand new song, the cinematic, heartfelt Always Take You Back. It’s a soaring, triumphant ballad, and I’m hoping I’ll be able to arrive at the fest early enough tomorrow to catch these fellas’ set, though it really depends on how work goes. Crossing my fingers! Their stint at OSL is followed by a fall tour that takes them all the way to the East Coast. Revisit the video for Dust and Bones with me below.
