It’s been just about a month since FARR made their debut with Down, and I’m still inexorably glued to that electro soul swooner from this exciting new duo from both Los Angeles and London. Down went on to gain over 250,000 streams since its premiere, and it’s received radio playtime on BBC 1Xtra and KCRW, as well as peaked at #7 on Spotify’s Global Viral Charts. But we’re going to have to divvy our hearts up, now that FARR has dropped a sophomore suitor named Blades, a rousing medley of satin R&B/soul, piquant pop, and nimble beats. Blades is a mixture of all that is molten swooning and fiery strutting from Nick Murphy, Jack Garratt, and Max Frost. FARR has set the stage well for their impending debut EP, a can’t miss at this rate. Stream/download Blades, here.
