On July 6th, Grammy-nominated British trip hop and electronic legends Goldfrapp will be releasing a deluxe edition of Silver Eye, their latest album from last year. On it are several new bonus tracks, including a rendition of album closer Ocean featuring none other than Depeche Mode frontman Dave Gahan. Depeche Mode and Goldfrapp is a more than epic union, and this glorious new version of Ocean more than reflects that. You can find the track on Apple Music, here. Pre-order Silver Eye: Deluxe Edition, here.

Oh how I wish I could’ve made it to Goldfrapp’s show in San Francisco a couple weekends ago, but life isn’t always fair, and even if I had, “everything is never enough” and I’d probably have left the show wanting to see them soon yet again. The multiple Grammy awards nominated English electronic duo happened to share a striking music video recently for their song Everything Is Never Enough off their recent seventh album Silver Eye. The glassy pulsing, synth fanning song is a beaut. It very much reminds me of some of my favorite School Of Seven Bells songs, too. Silver Eye is out now on Mute Records and it’s available, here.

Have you heard the news yet? Grammy nominated English electronic legends Goldfrapp has returned! The duo will be releasing new album Silver Eye, the follow up to 2013′s brilliant Tales Of Us, on March 31st via Mute Records. Goldfrapp has also unleashed a lead single named Anymore, a mesmeric buzzing, steady throbbing, and gilded glistening emulsion. “I can’t wait, I can’t wait anymore,” coos Alison Goldfrapp in her elegantly soaring voice. Neither can we. Pre-order Goldfrapps’ seventh studio album, here, and purchase Anymore as a single from iTunes, here.

They’re back! They’re really back! Grammy award winning English electronic duo Goldfrapp released a video today for a brand new cinematic single, the haunting Drew, off their coming new album Tales Of Us. The new release will be out on September 10. It feels like they’ve been teasing us with a new album for ages. It’ll be their sixth studio album and follows up Head First from 2010. Drew starts off hushed and delicate, but as lush, orchestral strings soar, it becomes far more dramatic, almost James Bond theme song like. Alison Goldfrapp’s raspy vocals are mesmerizing and sensual, yet so elegant. There’s no doubt it’s a breathtakingly beautiful and incredible song. I’ll be looking forward to hearing the rest of the album come September.

New Goldfrapp! New Goldfrapp! New Goldfrapp! The electro duo are about to release a greatest hits compilation titled The Singles, and on it are a couple of new songs. Here’s the beauty Yellow Halo, just released. The video footage is from their travels around the world on tour. What a gorgeous song… gives me chills.

The other new song on The Singles is Melancholy Sky. No high quality preview or video yet, but there is a decent video of Alison Goldfrapp performing it live.
