Aire Atlantica’s name has always sounded like some sort of vessel to me, like an airplane that flies clear across the skies to take us to a heavenly wonderland. The NY based producer flies us out of this concrete jungle and up to the moon with his frothy aerated, bouncy melodic new original, On My Own, featuring beautiful vocals by Emily Terran. Dulcet future pop meets electro pop on the disarming charmer of a sweetly enchanting electronic single. On My Own, which is out via Next Wave Records and Ultra Music, can also be streamed on Spotify, here.

Blooming California singer songwriter Ashe, who first enthralled fans with her dulcet voice on hits from the likes of Louis The Child, Whethan, Win and Woo, and so many more, made her long awaited solo debut earlier this year on Used To It, a bubbly sweet summer anthem. A plethora of fine official remixes of the song have surfaced, including this prismatic shimmering, brisk oscillating future bass edit by NY producer Aire Atlantica. I’m not sure I’ll ever get “used to” this lively burst of effulgent effervescence and chipper ebullience. I know I’ll greet it with wide eyed wonder and lofty joy each and every time I dive back into its vibrant soundscape. Aire Atlantica’s take on Used To It is part of a remix package that also features Jorgen Odegard and MIG50. Stream/download the full release, here.

I’m pretty bummed I missed out on the sold out homecoming show K.Flay just played last night at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. From all accounts, it was spectacular, which comes as expected. At least I’ll be able to catch the Stanford alumnus and genre bending hip hop and electronic genius at Live 105′s Not So Silent Night festival later in December. In the meantime, some fabulous remixes of her dark twisting, raw thrilling single Blood In The Cut have been arising. NYC’s Aire Atlantica offers up a steady jabbing edit that I find fresh and compelling. This remix stays true to the original’s buzzing edge, but it delivers that shadowy rough mettle with an added layer of hypnotic slicing future bass splendor. K.Flay’s grimy Blood In The Cut and Aire Atlantica’s remix seem a fine way ring in the weekend, right before Halloween.

NYC based producer Aire Atlantica gives us a purely wondrous interpretation of young starlet Billie Eilish’s most recent magical gem, Six Feet Under. The haunting pop song gets an intricate downtempo re-working. Its effervescent drum work and soothing soundwaves leave me in ecstatic hypnosis, as if drifting through a surreal daydream. Aire Atlantic’s remix is an out of body experience, a gentle chill trap and ambient electronic journey that touches the soul. Download the beauty, here.
