If you haven’t heard of Joe Fox yet, you’re probably going to hear a whole lot about him soon. Let me kick it off by sharing with you his new video for What’s The Word, the British talent’s first proper single. The video was debuted by A$AP Rocky, who actually discovered Joe Fox on the street then went on to feature him a multitude of times on his album. The swagger in Joe Fox’s bluesy rock and weathered soul is immeasurable. The swinging single recalls the music of NoMBe, Leon Bridges, and Michael Kiwanuka, but with an extra pinch of urban grit and dusty psychedelia. The single is out now on Blue Flowers Music / Island Records, here.

Earlier today, I gleefully pre-ordered Lana Del Rey’s next album, Lust For Life, which drops on July 21st. It’s been such a journey being a loyal fan of Lizzy Grant and her smoky style of pop since the Video Games and Blue Jeans days. I can’t wait to watch her perform her new music and her older hits at Outside Lands Music Festival next month, too. Lana Del Rey blessed us with two tasty new treats off of Lust For Life today, including a dreamy wistful collaboration with A$AP Rocky named Groupie Love. She also unveiled a melancholic and introspective, choppy and screwy hip hop imbibed track named Summer Bummer featuring Playboi Carti and produced by Boi-1da, which you can stream below.

I count myself immensely fortunate to have caught Mura Masa at his sold out show at cozy San Francisco venue the Independent earlier this year. That was most certainly an unforgettable night of forward thinking, chime twinkling electronic music. The fact that it was a co-headlining show with sometimes collaborator NAO made it all the more special. On that note, UK producer is surely wracking up some legendary collaborations, particularly now that he’s linked up with Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky on a new version of his song Lovesick Fuck. Love$ick is, pun intended, wicked sick. A$AP Rocky waxes poetic about the struggles of love from within Mura Masa’s Balearic tinged, choppy entrancing soundscape. Longing is palpable and the groove is endlessly contagious on this island love song.

Going through as much originals and remixes as I do on the daily, it’s easy to keep track of what songs are getting remixed the most. One such track in the upper echelons of remix recurrence is most definitely Selena Gomez’s Good For You, featuring A$AP Rocky. French producer Nebbra is the latest to offer up a must share interpretation of the track. His official remix gives Good For You a sprightly, springy future trap airiness and a chic and dapper luxuriance. The remix will be available come September 10th.

A$AP Rocky’s unexpectedly melodic LSD is one of my favorite tracks off his recent album. Canadian producer Shemce takes the video version of that track (along with the clip’s segue into Excuse Me) and gives it an even more mellifluous indie dance makeover. The remix boasts some exhilarating and gleaming synth ripples as well as a brilliant bridge crafted out of Excuse Me. It flows naturally and beautifully, giving LSD and Excuse Me an uplifting dynamic summer skin grafted out of elements from deep house, progressive house, and hip hop. Download the track for free, here.

For an utterly fresh take on that new A$AP Rocky tripper of a tune L$D, we turn to respected NYC based artist and producer Terry Urban. He turns the heady tune into a sleek and glossy electronic rock track. The remix carries a stark yet intoxicating quality that entrances and hypnotizes. It nearly feels like a TV On The Radio song with an infusion of dance energy from,a more heavy handed Dave Sitek.

There seems to be a trend with enlisting members of the A$AB Mob to hop onto new singles from red hot artists’ new singles lately, and the latest artist to follow this trend is Sam Smith. His new single I’m Not The Only One gets a new edit, and this time, the track features A$AP Rocky. It’s a cool new rendition. I have to say that I’m still most fond of the A$AP Ferg version of HAIM’s My Song 5, when it comes to these additional versions.

OFFICIAL VID: Lolawolf – Jimmy Franco (feat. A$AP Rocky)

Brooklyn trio Lolawolf is one super cool band already, but they get extra brownie cool points for their new video and song, which features A$AP Rocky. Jimmy Franco is a mesmerizing electro tinged pop track and first single off their upcoming self titled EP. It’s a deliciously sweet tune, and Zoe Kravitz and A$AP Rocky sure make an adorable pair in the clip.
