I was fondly reminiscing over all the amazing times I’ve caught The Griswolds live the other day, when this new collaboration popped up on my radar to tickle my ears and move my feet. The Australian indie rock band make a welcome cameo on East Coast producer Prince Fox’s latest single, a vivacious thrumming, mellifluous burbling treat named Time Alone. Buoyant pumping beats and ravishing keys adorn the exultant song, which walks a fine line between indie dance and electro house. The Griswolds even bring an alt flavor to the track. Time Alone is certainly a departure from some of Prince Fox’s earlier future bass and future pop offerings, but we’ve long known about this gifted producer’s dexterity. Infectious Time Alone is out now on Dim Mak. Find it on Spotify, here.
