I’ve never watched a single full episode of The Voice before, though I may have tuned in for a few brief minutes in passing. So, prior to The Soliloquy, I had no idea who Noah Mac was. Turns out, he’s not only a season 13 alum, but a much beloved semi-finalist with an incredible… you guessed it, voice! A soliloquy, as I learned when I had to memorize lines from Hamlet back in high school, is a solo speech or sermon that reveals one’s own inner thoughts, particularly while in a play. As the saying goes, “all the world’s a stage, and we are merely players”, but in this case, we are all captivated spectators and listeners as California singer songwriter Noah Mac fully commands the stage with his soulful voice and a ghostly clattering, gospel inflected, and electro-charged brew of soul, pop, and rock on The Soliloquy. The single is available from iTunes, here.
