Montreal based electronic pop duo Milk & Bones, whose name always sounds strangely delectable to me despite the fact that we don’t eat bones, are gearing up to release a sophomore album next month. They’ve also just previewed a new single from the record, and we’re absolutely enthralled by this sublime earworm named Nevermore. Its slick thrumming synthpop is a fine balance of waggish playfulness and heartfelt sincerity, propelled by their BROODS meets The Naked and Famous like dusky beats and svelte honeyed vocals. The Montreal-based duo free themselves from toxic relationships with spellbinding harmonies on the smooth billowing aria. Following the release of Deception Bay, Milk & Bone will embark on a North American tour which kicks off March 1st in Toronto. The tour includes stops in Ottawa, Quebec City and many US cities. Tour dates are listed on milknbone.com. Pre-order Deception Bay, here.
