We’re blessed that our love of music has resulted in a symbiotic relationship of sorts with other music heads that have followed IHM in the past, and we must thank one such fellow music fan for notifying us of a brand new track from Subway Club, a Swedish indie pop/alt rock outfit who’ve been quiet for many a year. We featured their music a few years ago, and we’re excited they’ve returned to our open arms with a rambunctious new indie rock and synthpop dazzler named Atom Bomb. Hints of Phoenix’s jaunty synth slickness endows this immediately hooking jam, replete with Two Door Cinema Club like lustrous guitar licks and The Wombats like alt chirpiness. Atom Bomb explodes into our ears with peppy energy. According to Subway Club, they wrote the song in 2013 and recorded it just this year. You can take the song for a spin via Spotify, here. Hopefully this means they’ve recorded more new music for us, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
