Whenever I see a new NoMBe song surface, I’m more than ready to “jump right in” to the track. The visionary Los Angeles singer songwriter and producer has provided us with a plethora of songs these past couple of years that traverse a very diverse soundscape. You never quite know what to expect when you dive into a new NoMBe song, you just know it’s going to be good. The German based artist serves up one of his more pop leaning, upbeat moving, yet laid back grooving numbers in the form of Jump Right In. Indie electronica fuses with smooth electro-soul on the piece, an infectious taste off NoMBe’s long awaited debut album They Might’ve Even Loved Me, set for release in January via TH3RD Brain Records. Jump Right In is the 10th in a series of monthly new reveals from the record. He states: “Jump Right In is a more upbeat record that picks apart some the times my significant other would let worry and fears get the best of her. It’s generally a song about letting go, even when you first meet someone and you realize being closed off won’t get you far. Musically, I tried pairing this idea with production that has a more laid back summer-time feel and that mirrors jumping into an ocean or pool. As with most of my records this song is best consumed road tripping or at your soonest family bbq.” Alternate streaming and download options for Jump Right In are available, here.
