Canadian duo Partner continues their ascent as one of this year’s heavily buzzing indie bands as they unleash another treat from their forthcoming debut album In Search Of Lost Time. Josée Caron and Lucy Niles offer up plenty of melodious angst on Play The Field, which was inspired by their own experiences trying out for team sports. The pop punk meets indie rock song is a load of fun with its infectious pop hooks. The disarming chugger reminds me of early Tegan and Sara, before they went big on lavish synths and glossy pop. In Search Of Lost Time arrives September 8th on You’ve Changed Records. You can pre-order, here.
