It’s been a very long time since we’ve heard from English singer songwriter, rapper, and producer King Krule, so it’s a really pleasant treat to encounter that unique voice of his on Mount Kimbie’s new song, Blue Train Lines. The UK electronic duo makes an entrancing return with their gossamer brand of ambient garage and post-dubstep, which pairs so well with King Krule’s gruff, blustery delivery. Blue Train Lines chugs along like a train itself after its vaporous start. It’s atmospheric yet grimey. It arrives with news of Mount Kimbie’s next album Love What Survives, arriving on September 8th.
