British singer songwriter Hira King disappeared for far too long despite leaving us reeling with his velvety smooth electro R&B and soul in the past and dropping a mighty fine EP in the form of VOLUME1. The Londoner makes a grand return under the simplified name HIRA with a bass curling R&B funk and electronic pop jam named Eve on which he’s collaborated with A.K. Paul and Craze & Hoax. The opulent warbling, resplendent rumbling suitor, replete with glacial synth stabs and glamorous Prince like guitar work, channels plenty of Paul family vibes (A.K. + Jai) in its snazzy, jazzy threads. Eve serves as the debut single from HIRA now that he’s returned under the new project name. You can grab the track from iTunes, here.
