Los Angeles’ Handsome Ghost revealed not one but two new gems today to follow up on his last song, a haunting cover of Postal Service’s Brand New Colony (which you must listen to, here, if you managed to pass it by till today). The first of these treats is a mellifluous longing electronic meets alt pop strummer named “beauty/bends”. Handsome Ghost’s Tim Noyes wrote the song towards the end of his band’s first tour while outside a Virginia hotel. Accompanying “beauty/bends” is tenderly melting “indian summer”, which you can find below. Together, the songs pack a one two nostalgic punch heavily drenched in lovelorn dewy feels. With the two songs comes news of a U.S. headline tour with special guest Frances Cone, as well as a long awaited debut album set to arrive this fall via Photo Finish Records. You can download “beauty/bends”, here, as well as grab “indian summer”, here. Find out more of Handsome Ghost’s May tour, here.
