Ahead of his trip to Austin for SXSW, Brooklyn producer Jeremy Malvin, better known as Chrome Sparks, has unleashed a floridly entrancing track named Wake. Despite its name, Wake leaves us in a sublimely hypnagogic state. Mesmeric blips and spectral murmurs create a strange yet eerie sense of dopamine bliss. The ambient electronic piece is thoroughly bewitching. It’s an opiate we devour with our ears. Chrome Sparks leads us through a world both familiar and unfamiliar, a divergent dimension which parallels our own. Wake is like our dreams, etched out with bits and pieces from our waking world, but pieced together in unfathomable ways. Grab the track from digital outlets, here. You can also stream Wake via Soundcloud below.
