A languorous pool of dreamy bedroom pop and pastoral folk greets our ears on Sun Beholds Me, drenching us with murky sunshine and covering us in torpid dust. The intoxicating drifter comes as a taste from Hand Habits’ forthcoming debut full length, Wildly Idle (Humble Before The Void). Los Angeles singer songwriter Meg Duffy has been receiving all the praise from critics and fans alike for her intimately wistful music, all of which she’s worked on while busy with other projects she’s a part of, like Mega Bog and Kevin Morby Band. Meg invites us into her world and beckons us to discover who she really with her coming album. Sun Beholds Me certainly feels exposed and candid, a warm, supine gem to cozy up to ahead of the arrival of Wildy Idle (Humble Before The Void) on February 10th via Woodsist Records and an impending tour that will conclude in Austin at SXSW. Pre-order Hand Habits’ debut album, here.
